I dont know if I am OT for this...
I've read about HW_rules_mod_1.38.dll and I have tryed it on HotA 1.4.2 but doesn't work... On chat appears "HW mod ver. 1.38 is enabled", but I don't see changes on gameplay... Is it incompatible?
Other question: where can I find other plugins?

I've got a problem/bug where I can't start the Shadow of Death campaign New Beginnings (Gem's one).
Every time I click begin the game crashes and I can't work out why.

I was very excited to play with 3 friends simultan in LAN.
But unfortunately it is quite bugged =/
As long as we don't interact with the same object everything was fine.
But as soon as we do, the simultan mode is ment to stop and some players have to do their turns again and it will be without simultan mode.
But this is when the bugs started. The simultan mode was stopped, but I (host) and the 2nd player were able to move heroes at the same time. The second player ended this turn before me, which totally broke the game.
So we had to load a savegame. In the settings we had simultan mode active again. After starting there was a message like "simultan mod will start the next day". But again, me and second player were able to move hero. Now I told him to do nothing and I ended my turn. That did work and we were able to play in a row and the next day simulatn mode was active again.
So here the bug is, that after loading a game with simultan mode active, more than one player is able to move, even if simultan should start the next day.
Then some minutes later one of my friends was smashed by AI and we decided to load a savegame and help him.
But again me and second player were able to move. I ended my turn. But suddenly 2nd, 3rd and 4th player were able to move hero. We made sure that they end their turns in the correct order. But after that day, the simultan mode did not get active again.
So all in all it is a pain to load a savegame with simultan mode active.

Simultaneous is only for 2 players.

was it really designed fo two players only? For two players you don't really need simultan rounds, but for 4 players you really need it...
So it would be really great, if it could be improved for more players
I remember another Bug/Problem, which should also exist with only 2 Players:
Sending ressources:
If you send ressources the other player receive them instant, which is great. But if he is in a fight or already ended his turn, he will never receive the ressources and they are lost.
How about the "PVP Neutral Combat" Feature?
Is it also for 2 players only? Or how would it look like if one from 4 players starts a neutral combat. Which of the other players will be able to move the neutral creatures?

Support for more than 2 players has already been officially added to the latest revision a little while ago, so that particular beta version is actually outdated. However, this extended functionally is expected to be less than perfect currently until it matures further, but at least it's out in the open now, so that more people will help stress test it. Detailed reports will no doubt be something Bara will appreciate. Also, make sure you're using '4.201 RC4', which is the latest version.
Btw, have you guys noticed the new timer bar? I was confused about it until I noticed that it actively shows how much of the movement points is currently used out of the start pool of a other player. It's kinda neat to be able to see when your opponent is almost done with his turn. However, it doesn't seem to take prisons and buying new heroes into account. I suppose this makes sense, though. Still, it means that it's not always the best indication of when a player is soon done with his turn, so it's kinda weird also in this regard - unless I simple don't understand it fully, yet.

I downloaded the version at 18 May 2016, so it was not the newst version yes. But the changelog does only include two changes that don't seems to be related to simultan turns...
Is a member of HD mod active here, so he can read my report about the problem? Or do I have to write at russian forum with google translate?

It'd might be helpful if you could provide crashlogs, if any, and a save with the mechanical steps to replicate the issue you encountered. Though, maybe your description was already enough for this. You probably want to send such, if any, directly to his email with your description.

Would it be possible to fix the "armorer bug"? (turrets dealing increased damage to units if the hero has the armorer skill and/or to units enchanted with air shield)

The issue itself seem very easy to fix, you can do it yourself with a little guidence, just search the forum, if you desire. If the bug is still present in SoD with HD mod on then it seems to me that it might not be fixed by choice. Though, I don't know any reason for it. Maybe it has become a HotA exclusive feature by now, lol (jk). But there's probably some reasonable explanation for it.

I did fix it in my installation of HMM3 in the past. However, every time HeroesHD updates, this fix is overwritten. So I was wondering, if we could have this small issue fixed as part of HeroesHD (instead of applying the fix manually after every update).
btw I only discovered HeroesHD recently (since my CD doesn't work anymore), and I love it. Good job, really.

Tournament games (red vs blue + computers) with simultaneous turns are played for months without critical problems.
I think the problem starts when you choose players colors not from the first and not in order. Am i right?
Try to choose red + blue + etc.

It was a scenario (Hota, 2vs2). To play that specific scenario in team, we had to choose different colors.

I made a map just to test for that bug and for my disappointment, it's still present, but only with the HD Mod, as I'm using HoMM3 Complete GoG edition which is actually patched to have that fixed, while HD Mod screws things up regarding it. I came here just to suggest the damned fix, otherwise the HD Mod is really awesome (keep up the good work OP). So a big +1 for this fix, please add it asap! I'll attempt to patch things up myself for the first time using a hex editor for now, though xD

I just tested a red+blue MP simultan game and I encountered no critical bug.
But sending ressources, if the other player already ended his turn, still does not work (while in combat does work). IF the turn is already ended he will receive a message that he got some ressources, but as soon as both players ended their turn, he will loose the ressources again.
And is there a way to activate simultan turns again, after it was interrupted, without save and load the game?
edit:
Does "PvP Neutral Combat" work with more than 2 human players? If so, how is it decided who will control the neutral units?
Do you think simultan turns with more than 2 players should work now without bugs (if the first slots are chosen)? Or do you know some bugs that will happen and you were not able to fix them yet.

Custom battle backgrounds
Hi! Is it possible to install custom battlefield backgrounds in a HOMM 3 Complete which has HotA and the HD mod installed? Or does it require WOG or something else? The background set made by Morn was quite difficult to find in the first place, and it didn't have any installation instructions with it. Would anybody here be able to help? Thanks in advance!
