Here what is the main problem with coding this newest mod.

The application hd_launcher.exe accesses a web resource http://h3hota.com/HD/Update/HD3.InternalTool  that has been detected as infected. The web resource has been successfully blocked and your PC is now safe.

Now, since Baratorch is mostly Russian and has to translate the majority of the coding for the Western World(The Americas-North to South) and, all the distinct languages of the European World(Australia and New Zealand included), I propose that a truly competent linguistic person would permanently help the translation process. Excluding me automatically of course.

So, Cavalier, could you address this very annoying problem a.s.a.p. please and thank-you.

Posting this alarming problem because a lot of us, mod. users, have not been able to update our HoMM 3 games into a HD status for quite some time(Fall of 2017 up to now January 5th mostly).

Once again, thanks in advance for tackling this troubling situation.

This problem is on your side of the line, not on Baratorch's side. I've just downloaded the latest version from the download link (5.0, build 30) and when I pressed the update button, it found build 31 and installed it just fine. And yes, I have anti-virus software on my machine, too, which detected nothing wrong with it.

HD3.InternalTool is absolutly safe.
Its a part of HD mod update system.
But if you afraid of this file you can update the HD mod by downloading and installing the full version: https://sites.google.com/site/heroes3hd/eng/download

baratorch would you consider adding creature turn order number to HD mod?

In vanilla heroes 3 movement points of the hero weren`t shown as well.

So this is another thing that doesn`t change gameplay imo.

With mod for multiplayer that boost creature animation speed I can`t see which is which when they move so fast. For me is like this game

3 cups and a ball game

That message was from the automated messaging service by the BitDefender's file index protection which totally blocks your update feature automatically.

Thank-You for updating your uploading page to state the proper status of the latest beta file for the HD mod. It does mention beta 31 instead of beta 9 this time around. Did a bookmark toolbar direct link to that web page.

Had to remove the HD .exe and the regular .exe file of the WoG mod. and reinstall that mod. + use the HD mod. to make a renewed HD main file of that WoG mod. in order to make the whole Heroes 3 mods work properly in-sync.

Does ERA 2.66 package do install on a clean install of Heroes 3 Complete or what do I do to make it work on an already seriously triple modded Heroes 3 Complete game?

My current HD mod. files that are working perfectly are as follows:
H3HotaHD.exe
H3WoGHD.exe
Heroes3HD.exe(regular H3Complete rendered HD modded)

You can always adjust the creature speed after your needs.

I have done it, but still can't use melee attack for ranger unit. Before update, i can chose attack type by right click on Defend icon in the bottom right of combat screen like this, but it have gone when i updated to newest ver of hd mod.

No, unfortunately it doesn't work with HOTA anymore, which is a great shame.

I really think HOTA/HDMOD/SODSP should collaborate and talk about what can be done to incorporate some very good stuff that SOD_SP plugin brings. I believe it can be done either part of the "Tweaks" (while giving due credit to SOD_SP creator in caps), or as a modified plugin (taking out whatever features HOTA devs do not want to have) to be enabled optionally (kind of a "HOTA approved" plugin, which can possibly be extended to other plugins through similar collaboration with their devs).

Come on guys, you can do this...

? Are you sure?
All the plugins I had enabled before the new version are also listed under "tweaks" - <Packs>.
But although they are listed there, they are non functional (at least HotA)

Yeah, turns out I jumped the gun there... It doesn't work even though it's listed, which makes me think it doesn't work yet... because otherwise why would they bother?

How come we still don't have mouse scrolling with a button like every other strategy game ever? Even VCMI added it. The quick menu is pointless.

Game would be classified by players names, date, template, template size and map seed. List of these games and comments would be public, so we could check our opponent before the game.

As a victim of leavers/rage-quitters i'd say this is a great idea. But is storing all the data as easy as it sounds?

Hi there, I'm new on this forum and just saw a gameplay on youtube with HD Mod and decided I need to get one for myself! However, I play with WOG and don't know how to set it up.

On the mod's official page there is an info that hdmod will work with WOG but it will require some tweaking. The text links to a WIP page though (https://sites.google.com/site/heroes3hd/eng/description/tweaks) so I don't know how to set it up (what to install first hdmod or wog? Are there some setting files, etc.).

I'm guessing this has been adressed previously so I would be much obliged for a pointer to some installation instructions!

I think the newer patches removed the ability to see extended hero information when creating a new scenario.

I quite liked this feature, and can't seem to get it back.

Also, I believe the replay your own turn feature now has a bug sometimes. I noticed it while playing a local multiplayer game, after my friend played his turn, but before I played mine. After showing what my friend did on his turn, the screen locked and wouldn't update.

Also, it would be nice to have the option of turning off the extended spellbook.
I prefer the old, smaller spellbook with glorious page turning animations.
Adding <UI.Ext.SpellBook> = 0 to the sod.ini does NOT seem to work.
