does one have a download link for the latest HD mod version that works with HOTA 1.5.4 ?
I don't like the nerfs from HOTA 1.6, so I wnat to continue playing HOTA 1.5.4. Now I installed the latest HD patch, but can not start hota+HD anymore, because it says the hota version is not supported -.-

In previous HD versions of the mod, I was able to achieve resolution up to 5120x1440. Now the program changes it automatically to 2360x664. I did not see any corrections related to this in the logs, does anyone know what's going on?
In addition, I wanted to enlarge the elements of the city at the resolution of 4000x1440. As I understand it, this passage tells about it, but I don't know why it doesn't work. I don't know mean what the abbreviations TE / ERA / WT .

Elements of the city were and always be 809x600. It's not graphic issue but hardcoded positions of cursor and game mechanics.

Movement points issue...
Hay, im pretty new to the HDMOD, I've used it for a week already, and I just started to learn the hotkeys, but in my case, i cant make it show my moving points on the map screen, I am talking about the mouse hovering + alt key. I use the latest version of the launcher HD 5.3 R12, and I use it with Heroes 3, Complete edition. Do you guys have this same issue or it's only me?

Sadly not. It would be great if it was, along with HotA, but for whatever childish reason the devs really want to keep it private.

Thanks for the info. I see the HD Mod corrects bugs from the original game too. Has 3DO opened the game's source code? How did the HD Mod developer get his hands on the source code?

that is probably done by means of hex editing, disassembling and injecting into running HoMM3's exe from HDmod's C++ code

Hi, first time here.
My Heroes 3 launcher does not update. The installed version is 2.4. That's the one you can download, and it finds version 2.905 currently to update. I hit update and it has a script running, but it never stops. Image: https://imgur.com/a/ZqwPo6i

The lost code has been found though, a full version for iPad would be so practical but instead, they even removed RoE from Appstore. Because you cant get rich by microtransactions when it comes to wholesome, classical games.

The sad thing is not that Ubisoft would destroy it like they did with the RoE abomination, it's that people who actually love the game for 20+ years cannot freely build on top of it even today. The original tweet looks very legitimate, so it's a massive disappointment to imagine what kind of mods we would have right now if it was released all those years ago.

IMO the hope so far is with VCMI project, in particular I hope that they will implement a scripting language for mods
its source code seems to already contain some mentions of both ERM and lua but it is unclear (to me at least - maybe I missed something) when is it going to become more or less complete and even what exactly their goals are with these languages

Okay I don't know if this has anything to do with HD Mod or HotA, but there are apparantly still some water related bugs, that makes the game crash.
It seems to be when AI uses whirlpools or the water version of the White Two Sea Way Portal. (HotA object.)
It's quite critical, since the game keeps crashing, when I reload the file.
