(presuming that was aimed at me) Here is a bit of light reading for you on the subject of re-occuring characters in the franchise. You'll see that just about none of the characters in Heroes I originated in that game, so "recycling" characters and reinventing them on different worlds is in fact an integral and long-running quality of the Might and Magic series. It's also a nice way to celebrate 25 years by doing it again with Ashan.

To lend support to your case, don't forget about the first ever named Warlock in the entire series, Ornean, who ponced around in full-blown allegiance to his demon and devil comrades in Might and Magic III: Isles of Terra, all the way back in 1991. In my opinion it would be much more egregious, as far as continuity is concerned, if the Warlocks weren't allied to the Devils.

Hmm didn't know that. Either way it doesn't bother me as much anymore, if inferno is mostly focused on chaos/destructive spells warlock is the natural choice. That of course begs the question what the dungeon emblematic hero will be but if their theme has indeed changed it would be an equal blasphemy to call them warlocks. I'll keep the faith for now

Inferno has always have strong ties with Luck based stuff. After all they worship Urgash, the guy of choas.

Choas == Luck...

however I do not like if they have uber powerful spells, like Dungeon. :/

Well, I agree. When we analyse them, both are defensive oriented but:
Haven while having high defense in general they are relying on healing and invulnerability (RA)
Sanctuary has balanced stats (which isn't the same as having high defense) but it is relying on having the highest defense with RA

But how can luck be achieved or should I say be played in two different ways? I can't see or understand that. But don't tell me that one will decrease luck while other will increase it...

Well, generally speaking, elves are graceful beings, and definitely more graceful than demons. H5 elves aren't the most graceful type of elves, but isn't the war dance of war dancers a graceful dance?

actually, I think sanctuary is defensive more in the way that it uses crowd control abilities. I mean, like the water elemental in H4. he is physically weak, but since most ennemies just can't reach him, it's no problem

now, there are some things I find funny :
