So they revealed two more Heroes today. What do you guys think?
I like them, their bio's are quirky but serious as wel. Their portraits look good, but their specials don't tell us much ATM.
Still I can help having the feeling that I could have written those bio's myself.

Hmm intresting new heroes I guess, but is it on purpose or something that they don't mention if they are might or magic heroes?
And I really don't like their tiberium radiation.

I think there is good reason to guess that we've 3 Might Heroes(Lord Haart and the necros) and one Magic(The other one).

I'm going to wager both necro preview heroes are Ebon Knights, both backgrounds seem to hint at a more martial nature.
Hoping not all necro heroes are white skinned / green eyed, HoMMV had a decent mix of various undead looking heroes.
Ok... uhm, I'm going to bet tomorrow we'll get... inferno heroes, then stronghold on thursday and friday we'll get sanctuary heroes.

It would be nice if there were some different looking ones, but I'm doubtfull. Not because I doubt the artistic skills of the guys working on it, but for lore reasons.
Right now the Necros aren't split from the Wizards. They're still part of the Silver Cities and are still trying to fit in with them. I'd guess it'll be hard to be accepted if you're a decaying corpse, that's falling apart left and right. That's likely also the reason the Liches look far less decayed this time round.
On the other hand, I'm glad we've necros that aren't human. Seeing as Scatha is a Dark Elf and Akasha is a Naga, I'm looking forward to seeing heroes of a different origin more.

Well technicli Scatha is more of an elf then a Dark elf. Looking from the point that she had left Tuidhanas kingdom before the Empire attacked and therefor before tuidhane sealed the pact whit the faceless...
But so far I like the new heroes. They are more deeper then those from heroes V. For example Eileen sounds interesting enough for her own story.

Agreed I could see a map maker create a map revolving around her back story, similarly Scatha has plot potential.
But simple motivation heroes such as Sir Jaywood aren't bad either.

New heroes:
 Lord Haart - starts with +4 leadership
I think that leadership is morale and that this +4 will get added to the hero's troops (remember, the scaling of morale is higher than H5 so not as powerful as +4 morale in H5) (the one marksmen screenshot showed morale of 6)
Eileen - sisters/vestals grow by +6 per week
Great! A hero that has creature weekly growth! I think people are confused with weekly growth: your town's different tiers will grow weekly for all seven (3 core, 3 elite, 1 champion), but external dwellings outside on the map, here you choose which tier you want in each group (ie. you can go for 10 sisters OR 3 marksmen + 3 praetorians + 4 sisters)
Sir Jaywoods - starts with Enlightenment ability with bonus
Hmmmm....probably works similar to H5 enlightenment...wonder where this fits on the Skill trees, must be under might cos magic only has the 7 schools
Scatha - starts with Agony ability with bonus
WOW! New ability "Agony".....must be something to do with de-buffing the opponent (like dark magic but under war cries or something)

I think that Scatha's Agony ability is similar to Deirdre's Banshee Howl. Probably decreasing stats of units.

Why would that be dumb? I'd say that's perfectly justified, it adds character, I mean I wouldn't say its a big issue but it certainly isn't dumb.
Heroes II portraits (and III a little) had great backgrounds that certainly contributed to the characters, certainly beats flat colours.

Actually, I think you're wrong. Tuidhana will die during the war and thus she has already made the pact with Malassa.
We don't know exactly at what point Scatha has left the kingdom, so she could be a renegade Sylvan Elf or already a Dark Elf

I like them! i love the art of portraits.. The bio is not important for me, important is how they will impliment it to storyline!
but so far looks promising!
