Download button not working... (redirects me to http://static8.cdn.ubi.com/s/Beta/Might_and_Magic_Heroes_VI_Public_Closed_Beta.zip?s=1309284229&e=1309284529&h=9625de5f7f32f8b522d43db1d9a13c4e, a blank page where nothing happens.) Any ideas?

Leave it for now, it's pretty nice support thread for those with download problems, i don't mind deleting them all after problems are gone tho  .

Server's have too many connections, try clicking the download button periodically, once per 5 to 10 minutes. Doing it too often won't change a thing.

It finnaly started downloading! YAY! I had a blank page so i decided to go back and click the download again and it worked! As it said it will take about 2 hours to download i will watch Hell's Kitchen even though it will slow down my internet. Oh well i played the close beta and i dont care if i'll wait even 4 hours for it to download.

For Christ's sake, the download died 4-5 times already. First I was downloading with 3 MBps, now with 70 kbps.

What worked for me was clearing my broser cache. The initial problem does seem to be caused by increased traffic - but if your browser is cacheing the blank page, you won't get the actual download to start until you clear it.
I'm now getting 1.5Mbps, though, so traffic doesn't seem to affect the speed of the download.

That is dependant on server, location, and time. I had twice max speed of my connection, after 10 min and 500 mb it went down to 70 again, to crash afterwards.

Geez if you computer experts are having trouble then someone who's computer illiterte like me can pretty much forget getting the Beta. Well if anyone gets the Betta going I would be curious to hear how varied the factions' fighting styles are.

Not really, that's not the case, expert or not, we cannot do anything by ourselves since problem ain't on our side. You have the same chance as we do to download it.
