Are you generating XXL maps (242x242)? I noticed a few templates will create invalid towns (>48) and other extra-things then game crashes when player interacts with.

Yes I'm generating the biggest map I can, so should I try a smaller map and see if I still crash from picking up artifacts?

Well, do the obvious and if still problems upload a save when back at home. Without save and active mods list can only speculate.

Hello, I have a strange issue with Era, this never happened earlier. Anyway, everything was working fine, I was using map editor, and after closing it, both map editor and game stoped working. The only error I receive (both when I run game and editor) is this: "Runtime error 217 at (some hex address here)". Did anyone encounter this kind of problem?

Open heroes3.ini, set Debug=1, run editor and upload eralog.txt pelase.

I turned on the debug flag, as you suggested, but running editor (or the game) doesn't produce the log at all  I searched whole heroes folder and nothing...

Thanks for your help. Somehow era.dll and eramap.dll were damaged (I don't know how), and I replaced them and now everything works.

Is it possible to make a combat between just creatures and creatures without hero? Onrignlal H3 only defender side(right side of combat) can do so, the attacker side must has a hero.
Its for modding, make wild creatures attack towns and game be more interesting.If so TD(tower defense) mod is possible.

Banks refill
Hi!
In WoG 3.58, when I robbed a bank it would refill after a month with stronger creatures (namely the Utopias would get special dragons like azures, etc...), and now when I'm playing random maps on Era II this doesn't happen.
Is there an option that I should activate?
I've read the Wog options more then once and I'm not finding it anywhere.

After few months of not using Era at all, trying to run it results in:
"Assert violation in file
"D:\Soft\Programming\Delphi\...
"
You get the idea, I saw this posted before but couldn't find any fix. I've updated Era but this gives no result.
Also, is it supposed to be like that, that now with updated Era when I run h3wog.exe most WoG options are grayed out?

Game randomly crash when visiting town screen. Especially a town with many buildings(i feel).
For test:
i delect wog's S folder,exclude the possibility of erm scripts.And delect all mods, only wog folder in mod folder. It still happen, i cant find out reason.
I always suffer the crash by this way(i feel its easier to happen by this way): choose castle town to begin game and use"wogminstirith" to let the town has all buildings. Then visit twon, game randomly crash.
This is WOGCRASHLOG.TXT and WOGERMLOG.TXT, i set Debug=1 in heroes3.ini.
