most of new creatures are just upgrades, so you get them  after building special thing (rightclick on Town Hall). some are availible in Divine Library - neutral town. some are not availible yet. I may add new dragons to Dragon Peaks - neutral town, but then I need grphics for new buildings.

In data subfolder there are files: cranim_fast.txt cranim_slow.txt
choose one you want and copy to cranim.txt ...

EDIT: Khadras? I added creatures 294 to 302, defs are  copies of those of commanders. It is added specially to fix the creature banks commander  behaviour (bank defender commander seems to be useless), I don't yet added it to the tables. Please  find nice stats for them and nice crexpbon. I want them to be upgradable in terms of creature  experience.

added Gas Tent battle Sprite
it would have Lich Cloud Shooting, and probably a poison effect
IDK if it would be able to ressurect undead, but for sure it won't do anything good to living units.

Hi majaczek! I find contradictory creature numbers in your files. Please look at my file and correct the wrong correlation between creature number and creature name from the file bellow:

this script and this dialog:
55409_spellbook.txt
put it to data

new spells replace four adventure spells, but the machine can do it without requirements on hero spells (it can be on i.e. hero Secodary Skill or artifact). it have to specify the requirement and used spell and existing spell similair to new one.

PS: dialog use custom spellbook image put  the spellbook into data

PPS: new spellbook is used when rightclick on spellbook icon on battle screen.

I recently fixed save-bug on emerald3.era.
I hope it works now. resolution of the bug was relatively easy, but I first tried hard.

I am going to either write a plugin to extend dialog functionality or write  own dialog function (the further would be more limited, and may need code to draw on heroes screen/window).

I hope to write SkirmishManager, which helps autosaving game basing  on Skirmish name and Player names. (skirmish is a whole game, and may differ on beginning, curent auto/quicksave uses only color and date )

EDIT: nope, saving isn't fixed yet...

EDIT: *Facepalm* - it was  trivial to fix but  I thought it different way now savebug in emerald is fixed - finally

New Creatures and Dwellings

Is your Amethyst working well in the map editor?

Mine works fine if I use erm to place new creatures on the map.

However, I cant place new creatures in the map editor. The creatures appear in the editor, but placing them into the map will give me an error message. Looks like the editor cant get the name of creature.



I am also trying the dwelling plugin. Can't get the new dwellings working correctly in the map editor.

When I use UN:Ix/y/z/17/103, it returns cannot find object.
But when I use UN:Ix/y/z/17/103/17/0 to make the new dwelling look like dwelling 0, then it works fine.

Do you have any idea about this?

yes it is. you need to add objects entries. for me it didn't work in era-like (inside folder objects) so I added to original object files (two of them don't remember which). you also need to edit a number in mapeditpatch config file. check Amethyst Upgrades mod - it has modified object files, modified mapedpatch config and placeholder defs - if you copy these things into your mod (and replace placeholders later) it should work.

could somebody help me with filling crexpbon.txt for my Amethyst Upgrades mod? I wish to public my new version of Knightmare Mods as one single platform mod under name Knightmare Kingdoms, but it needs some polishing :|

I will gladly change scripts and plugins, but I have no head for balancing experience bonus

Hi! The Knightmare War Machines.era (Knightmare Warchest Mod) and
Skirmish.era (amethyst upgrades mod) makes game not starting. Please check them and make them to wok, please.


Knightmare war machines.era needs emerald.era to work, so it needs amethyst upgrades to work.

skirmish.era works for me (it needs quicksave script to work)
if skirmish.era doesn't works for you, either you have old version of plugin, or your operating system is too old for my usage of winapi
and skirmish.era needs HD mod to work. if skirmish.era doesn't work at your side anyway, you can remove the plugin and quicksave.erm from your copy of the mod.

note: you doesn't need to change resolution to big one just use old version of HD mod (the one which works or era) because without it game doesn't draw cursor on skirmish window. Also if you installed new version of HD mod by mistake, it isn't enough to uninstall it, but you need to remove patcher_x86.dll manually then install proper version of HD mod.

I have HoMM3 HD 4.207 RC1 Mod. I have Win10 latest updated. All the game settings was like in the past.

What version of HD mod i must use?

I have your today's version of mods. So they are up-to-date.

What i must do to make them work with those two files?
