It didn't work for me either, save, something to do with visibility, line 12378. I wasn't able to understand the problem, so I modified
!!VRy17:&y10;
to
!!VRy17:S1;
It fixed the problem, but also I was able to get bonuses from fogged objects, which barely made any difference.

How far were you able to push MoD? I was able to defeat Drakon at 2.3.7, but stopped playing rn

yes, strangely I can't make it work neither, while in my test it worked perfectly. I will look into and fix it properly tomorrow, today I was in a hurry.

Ok guys, no idea what happened, now is fixed. MoD can visit power objects from far away, which is a big bonus to the faction. I will send to maps4heroes in the next days too.

That would be an insane run - even for MoS; at that time I was probably around Daremith .Is it MoD fast enough to face Drakon that early?

He is, that's because he have enough army to spare, and some fights can be won by using very small army, and because you can forgo visiting primary skills structures by yourself, saves a lot of movement

month 6. came to ajit. 500+ ad, focused all mithril on them. speed 31, dmg 75-85, health 304, and att/def 40. he crush me like a bug in a round or max 2. also waited for tazar for 2 more weeks. donno how to kill him, can't do any dmg to him. obviously i need some L5 spell, but don't have it.
played this few years ago, but it was different. had difficulty menu.
i've also took that hardcore for this game.

For Tazar you have to give devils implosion on hit, then just attack hydras until they die from implosion. MoS will be able to kill Tazar with lightning bolt also.
I removed the difficulty menu because it was not well calibrated, easiest options didn't have goodies the hardcore had, so it was not fun and tedious. Is not hard map - especially for MoW, just don't wait too much, always go for next battle.

figured out for tazar. very very very long fight due to low implosion dmg and strange behaviour of 50%. fire elemental fight is joke compared to it.
ajit is simply way too powerful on month 6.
looks like i will have to start again and try to be faster.

I looked in my folder, Ajit fight with Mow is 3/1/3, 150 devils.
Look, Mow is quite slow early game but most powerful middle and late. Try Mos, is best early and middle game so you get to know the map. Also, with Mow don't waste any mithril on devils, go for demons. Heroes can mentor each other, so they instantly become level 20 after release from prison.
Tazar is long for you because month 6 so hydras have +300% health.

i mean, came week or 2 before that to wystan... wtf, how will i, cursing... yes, maybe to exchange whole knowledge points on attack and def.
nice trick 
not long fight, but i lost nerves until figure out how to try to beat him. still needed some luck with morale and that crap.
must say, if anything is annoying in game, that is morale.
back to work, let's see what's next

In your activated mods list, are you sure TEW 2 is not on? Because in TEw 4 there is no spoils of war to be pressed. This is a TEW 2 feature.

earth bonus spoils of war you can activate when you upgrade 180 spells.
so the question still stands. does activation of that bonus (pressing button) triple ai creatures numbers?

No, it only gives resources after each fight, quantity based on the number of mobs killed. MoS gets 1/3 more than others.

donno, must say something really strange is going on then.
because i have attacked those darkness dragons on path to rylands jail and there was 570+ x 7 stacks. it was close few times to win without any casualties so i have decided to spend some mitril and rss to avoid more reloads. activating earth bonus was part of that action. and what do i get, 1710+ x 7 stacks. reloaded, restarted, this, that... i came to conclusion, that activation is the reason for tripling numbers. btw, right click on monsters still shows 570+ x 7.
i really like this map, but will have to give up. way to hard for me with this happening, i am not expert. just, let's say, a bit more than average homm3 player.
tnx again to sal and anyone made any contribution in homm3 community.

it is possible that a script sets a bigger number when battle starts, in a few occasions, this was to have bigger than the cap of 4000 allowed. Of course, if you run away from battle then come back again, the number will get higher again, the script still running. So don't run away, just reload before the battle then come back when you can win it.
I didn't pay attention to warn because for me it is obvious that when a battle is too big, you reload, not fly away then spend 2500 to recruit lost, with lose movement and such.
