PS: And I never said Im anything like a heroes god or something master (as I just showed), nor did I say that you are worse than me. Im just trying to help fix bugs. Besides, Im new to WoG, still love it. Maybe one day I will take a deeper look into all this...

I think in Arena not only speed stays the same,but stats as well.
I may provide screens later if I become sure.

bob just tested call to arms, I don't have the -1 thing in mines. Was your hero in a mine when you did, or something special?

@Edit: it happens only in certain mines, not all. I will investigate about.

@ML, only speed is reduced by 1/5 in Arena. Didn't touch other stats.

new values contain as well attack all around price of 600, so if you got it already, enjoy the easy early game. As I still test it, i was a bit slow to realize how good is that ability in early phase, gerwulf or Ajit.

Don't forget to press F12 when reloading save if script replaced.

You can't kite much lvl 7 creatures in Arena So you kinda have to do be able to clear it round 1. or you lose to much

About attack all around I also think is v powerful. but , as you said, sometimes forces AI to leave castle (prolly cos not enough room to arrange troops so they don't get hit) SO can be angel and demon at the same time.
maybe make a quest somewhere mid map, make your pick which moment, when you'll allow it.

I advanced up until Shiva. (Played too much today). Ye I agree that x 2 mithril is to much. just that early stages of the map are always harder. so my best bet is to cap mithril to a reasonable amount per day. Up to +30 or w/e , keep the x 2 . This will allow early development and will hinder ridiculous amount of mithril being farmed after water bonus.

I got it after Ash, 4.1.5. Now cornucopia will give *2, so you will get it probably 2 weeks earlier. I put back mithril rewards as in ouch mode.
For attack all around, the best is to triple its price, as giving it in some event is risky, as every faction reaches points of map at different times. With a price of 600, you will delay it a bit.

Gerwulf is extremely tough. I attack him 1 4 6, on my hands I have 42 Devils and a handful of the others. No matter what I try, no matter what abilities I buy, he smashes me first round. I cant even block his shooters (sharps). If I let the Zealots forget, the archangel moves first and either gives me slow or himself shield, both leading to loss. If I cast haste or prayer, I get one turn more, but the faeries + unblockable shooters just swish away all my forces. I also tried waiting to month 2, but then all stats go crazy...AI also doesnt care for my all around ability, it just attacks right away.

Enlighten me please

I think you go too fast, gerwulf before immunity 1-3 and/or immunity fire, reduce defense and attack and return is almost impossible, you need immunities against faeries. Also you need twice more devils for him, I remember I had to delay one week because sharps were hatred, in that case you can go sleep.

HERE is my save against gerwulf, on 2.4.4, you can compare abilities and army. The first and second month are ok to gain skills/stats/mithril then prepare because Gerwulf is not the hardest in early phase, Ajit is following, with 800 blacks casting implosion on each hit. Witch huts will sell skills (30k gold) even if you have full, so visit them. Resistance is very good to have early game.

Just finished MoS, here some screens, the end was ridiculously easy because I did the modifications too late. Special mention for Pyree fight which was very long and murderous, you need about 3500 mana to get them back to life.

Clicked end turn until month 7 and checked again their stats (funny this time they did not have prayer so less speed lol:


I think all factions should finish it before month 8, seeing how their HP and defense is going up, or it will be very hard later. Also this time I used the mithril market a lot, for once we have to raise attack too, this being the reason to fight arena almost every day.

There was again a problem when selecting all skills

I fixed it but that part of script is getting crowded. Other that, everything ok.

Yeah, but with the Witch Huts change it's easy to get a perfect Hero with full skills anyway, maybe you could put the Witch Huts in places that are easier to reach (for example that Earth magic Hut near Augustodunum becoming next to Tenatha would be extremely useful).

Well, first the script must work. Is just the hell additional difficulty who screwed all, as it was not intended first. Now should be ok, but there are 15-20 different situations to handle and I can not imagine them all. I don't want to move objects on surface, when I do so strange things occur, map is at objects limit.

Only one fix, when you select "give all secondary skills" from menu. It applied to another hero, heh. Didn't notice it until I saw Commodus level 72 receiving basic wisdom, I was like wtf

That was implemented before MoS having +1 feature. ye, MoW needs faster ways to gain Mithril
