We were all on the floor laughing our heads off!! This was during one of the many England-Germany showdowns.. oh, the last England-Argentina WC game was funny.. everyone was going on about the Hand of God!! Still!! after all these years!!
BTW.. Who else thinks Owen is a diving little tosser??

Owen a diver? nah i wouldnt say so..if u want divers feel free to pick anyone from following national teams: Italy, Yugoslavia, Turkey (Sorry Hamsi  , Slovenia i could name many many more divers but lets just say that Owen isnt one of them.

Aregentina vs. England
That game was not funny! it was sad and dissaopinting. Stupid ahole Beckham doing such a stupid thing!!!!! Still te best game on that World Cup was Denmark vs. Brazil. Schmeich AND the Laudrup brothers(gods!!!) too bad they didn't win!
If by tosser u mean that Owen is a 'rich boy' or anyhting in that concept i'll have to agree.

i think that galatasaray is the best european team because when you compare the club with italian and spanish famous clubs there is a money and benefits differences... galatasaray players dont get money like other players in europe but they played with honour and adrenaline we got uefa and super cup last year we are the best... hick.. arghs.. yes i love my team its 02.00 here and im proud of my team ... manchester sucks galatasaray ruells.... we kicked them 3 times . we ... we are the best.. but what is the best... i dont know.i have to sleep i think.. and . and it sucks... so.. we.. we....

Since all of you are at the topic, I'm just wondering what all of you think about the Japanese national team? Frankly, I think nobody would pay much attention to the Japanese team in W-cup and probably you may not have any comment on the team as well (as they are so insignificant). But do tell me something about what you think of them, even if it's just an impression.
The Japanese will be playing with Belgium, Russia and Tunisia for the round-of-16, what do you think would be the likely outcome?

I think all 3 teams are a bit better than Japan but Jap still stands a chance for round-of-16 coz the opponents are not that strong. What it needs is LUCK.
I'm also very happy that Jap and Korean automatically qualified for world cup so that Chinese national team has a chance to play first time of the history. Though my favorite national team is China but I got to admit that Japan, Korea, Arabi are better teams.
My favorite clubs are AC Milan during the time of Van Baston, Gulit & Rijjchard (the Netherland trio) (forget about the spelling...) and Liverpool. They are very strong and more importantly they are very entertaining.
As for Manchester United, can anyone tell me when was the last time MU beat Liverpool....
Germany is good, good team spirit, good tactic and very good mental strength but they are quite boring.
For England, I think they will have trouble even into round-of-16. They got to struggle coz Sweden, Argentina and Nigeria all have the ability to beat England. Especially Argential, it's a team with great players and some master "divers"......even their defender know how to dive. I think England needs luck to qualify to next stage of World Cup.
Just my 2 cents.

What about Norway - Brazil
in 96 i think it was ended up with 4-2 DAMN! that was a good game for norway too bad we dident make it longer then italy. rekdal did a great job on that penalty shot i really enjoyed that game

I think Japan will make it to 2.nd round, dont ever underestimate homegame advantage. And as been already said, Japans group doesnt look that tough.

Japan has a pretty good chance. The Russians are always a threat, but their line-up and strategy is so unpredictable u don't know what to make of it. Tunisia should not be a problem for Japan. Belgium could decide weather they go to the 2nd round or get knocked out. The Belgians are a very quality team and they won't come down easily
