Well, you are right, regarding nerfs I sort of thought so watching JasonParadise's stream when he said that he can say that one of the cards shown that day during gameplay is going to get nerfed, and the only really strong cards played during those games were sots and Raya, and I do not think they should change her.

Tower of the Smith / Smith’s Pride
Smith’s Pride is a brilliant combination of bold metal and relentless stone, a testimony to the Shantiri Forges, Arkath, the Dragon God of Fire, and the Dwarven smiths who certainly had an important role in building it. An entire clan of Stronghammer Dwarves numbering seven hundred strong, made a pilgrimage to the tower after its completion, to pay it homage and admire its tremendous beauty. Fender, the clan’s illustrious weaponsmith, cried in joy upon touching the edifice. One of his tears is said to have been transformed into flamegold by the magic in the tower. He wore the tear on a chain around his neck and bequeathed it to his heirs. The necklace is still worn today, and said to fill its wearer with the courage of Arkath.
Report from Asalah to the Council of Nine
The tower of Fire has been found using the rituals the Council prepared. It is indeed occupied by the Arch-Demon, Prince Phrias, who has set his minions to the task of placing Chaos wards and spells around its base and along its parapets. Again, the information given to us by the renegade, Hakeem, has proven true. The archives are confirming that this is indeed the Smith’s Pride of legend, constructed by the Shantiris over a millennia ago for some unknown purpose. We must recover it quickly, for Phrias uses the tower as a magical amplifier to instill a maddening fury in the minds of our officers, leading our troops to self-destruction before they are able to reach the battlefield.

Seems kinda obvious that the towers will be after the elements Since we already have the tower of the dreamer and two towers around earth and fire, I'd guess the next will be water and air. The descriptions make it sound like they would have an impact on gameplay than just being there for the lore. At any rate I am interested in it.

I am wondering how these towers will affect gameplay though, as event cards? Or ongoing fortunes affecting spells? Interesting...

Well, we can see from this post that towers will be something different, new mechanic I guess, if this picture represents one of the towers at all.

I doubt that it will be used as a blocker, since it doesn't have HP, but that is subject to change. On the card it says "when **** Inventor is attacked..." which means it can be attacked. Since it requires only might, I would say that they are special kind of creature cards with some special effects.
I love that they are adding new mechanics to the game, making it more complex. Can't wait to see more.

I personaly think it's just going to be some new cards that will require might but wont be creatures, so you will have more options in the game.

There's already a day by day pic reveal on the official forums and I can tell u so far from what has been shown that it is a different card altogether and it's unique, I believe 5 unique towers which will affect one faction or two, but considering there will be more factions I guess in the end there will be 1 of this towers per two factions.

My bet is on "Battlefields" or "Warzones", Cards that will defne areas and will provide global bonuses to all creaatures in the game

Could be, but from wording, this one seems to give Preemptive strike to Haven creatures, even if it is neutral card. So if we follow the concept, all of them will be neutral, and will have "two" abilities, one which can be used for every deck, and other just for certain faction.

Agreed, and I think that these "building" cards will be placed in the creature slots (as they have might requirements). I don't think that building cards can be "killed" or "removed" as they have no attack, retal or health points....

Yes, it could be interesting if it applies to both players if they are playing same faction. I like double-edge stuff.

To be honest, they should be able to destroy/remove buildings, since it is said on the card that you are able to attack it, and if you do, the ability is triggered.

It doesn't actually say the tower can be attacked.
It could read: "When a friendly creature using tower (inventor) is attacked...."
