Questions:
1. Would tower of the gardener work with a Pao (in other words kill a 6 health creature on next turn)?
2. Would war tent be destroyed after Pao "used" it? I would think not, as the Pao is not killed from combat damage....

1. Yes, why wouldn't it work?
2. No, as you said, creature on it isn't killed with combat damage.

Elvin mentioned it wouldn't work but was mistaken...so was curious...the poison bonus is for everyone, regen is only for necro.

It seems the orcs will get the short end of the stick, since there will be no tower for them, the last one is surely a dark tower where Gazal will be and it will have a bonus effect for academy, also I'm pretty sure that with every new race one of the towers will have an effect for them too like dark for dark elves, gardener for elves or smith for dwarves. I wwonder how stronghold will cope with this.

Not sure what you mean....the War tent is solely for Orcs and all the unique buildings are all neutral (i.e. for anyone!)

So far all towers are related to Herold of the Void (Gazal) lieutenants: Phrias, Ariana, Akane, Kieran. There was also Black Skull Clan chieftan Kassar but he never was truly Herold's servant, just an Orc and a puppet corrupted by Void magic.

Not impressed...
The art is great, but he is Champion-like hero with 1 more HP, without special ability and I don't even see the spell schools(if there are any?).

well this is a Campaingne hero. when the Campaigne was first introduced in the closed beta, there was no limits to it like therre are now. So some people just kept playing, they met the first nagas and also.. this guy.

Indeed, this hero is from beta, when not all heroes had special abilities yet. I think he was planned as special hero (as Phrias, Kieran, Ariana and Akane) but somehow he is missing in action.
Stronghold doesn't have any special hero (winning them through accolades) until Forgotten Wars.

Eee.. Crag Hack (500 wins)... since VR or so... one of the first 2-4 of them.. easier to get then Pharis or Ariana, or Akane

I forgot about him.
I won't call his achievment easier then Akane's or Phrias'... well, all depends for how huge is your wallet. 
You could also easy win additional VR cards thanks to Swiss.

500 wins is easy, just a matter of time. I find Crag the easiest special hero to get.
