New artifact will be this:
Infernal Greaves

+3 to all stats.
And this artifact with sword of hellfire, shield of the damned, hellstorm hellmet and breastplate of brimstone will be make the Devil's armour or Archdevil's armour or Evil Armour
when combined gives inmunity to not beneficials fire spells and duplicate the eficiency of all your fire spells.
Maybe the combined ability are overpowered full haha.

It's also in the wrong slot, a combo artefact should be in one of the already taken slots, not a new one.

I don't say Infernal greaves are the combo artifact. Is a part of the combo.

I changed the text on hota lod. sptraits (spells) the most important for me but those changes have not effect. In heroes 3 complete the same changes have effect.

Some nice suggestion but new boots aren't needed imo. the set with these 4 already existing artifact would fit nice, "titan's thunder" also just use 4 artifacts. same would the rampart style weapons with 4 artifacts. Centaurs Axe isn't used by centaures in the game, maybe this could change. Gnoll Buckler sounds nice, but the gnoll wears it in the wrong hand. Like the "Nix" is wearing it in the background it also wouldn't collide so much with the attack animation in that case.

Only if you assume Gnolls have a similar level of 'handedness' to us. They could easily be mostly left-handed.

Err guys, haven't you ever realized that handedness changes depending on whether a unit is moving to the left or right?

True, but when you attack (every monster on the map for example) you're always on the left side of the screen, I think it's more common than being attacked by other players (right side of screen). Anyways it would collide with the attack animation or the flail isn't visible with shield in fornt, but thats just mine opinion.

Hello everybody.
I've got 2 questions.
I just got into the game after some time and I wanted to continue in Campaign, sadly I couldnt find any Saved games but there are saves in the "Games" directory.
So I guess the newest version wont load the older saves.
So the question is - am I able to convert/make em work or do I have to start over.
And If I have to start over, is there any way to activate cheat codes (like the ones from original Heroes3) so I dont have to play those first 2 missions all over again ?

dessert style town would be nice, but takes a lot of time and ressources.
-Random Map Generator: "strong enemies" is quite an understatement atm. it's also limited to dirt and underground terrain (at least I've noticed a few "stronger" enemies there but nowhere else)

Do you know how stacks are generated in RMG and what does "strong" setting mean?
There can't be any difference in stacks trength depending on terrain, as it would make most of RMG games clearly unbalanced - yet no one complained about it.

Yeah I know its the stack, but I find it quite more enjoyable in WoG with monsterlevel +1/+2 also sometimes the dragons. Instead of bashing all the time the same enemies.

I think that the necromancers and black knights will be have a skeleton horse, tower a white horse, stronghold a giant wolf and inferno a nightmare's horse (a black horse with flames) it would be nice.

Hello. There is always a warning with an exclamation mark (!) in the first line of a changelog in case of changed the save format. Yes, unfortunately you have to start it all over. SoD cheatcodes do work

I wouldn't put it like that. I didn't want to know what the community wants, I just said that of all ideas UI enhancements have the smallest chance to be absurd ones and therefore have higher conversion for being implemented.
As for that button: it is a feature of HD mod, which is 100% compatible and honestly I don't remember myself playing HotA or any other Heroes version without it (though, of course it is absolutely possible, but why would you?)

Hmn good to know... How about suggestion, stay here or should I post the next ones in mentioned thread? Else -> just move that post pls
hero specialties for other towns:
-Castle: Works fine, nothing doubled
-Rampart: Powerful as they are
-Tower: Thane & Iona's = Geenies,
replace Iona = archery/precision/+2speed (town is quite slow, other towns/units just +1 speed maybe)
-Inferno: the worst heroes with conflux in the game
Olema (weakness) replaced for "Hitpoints" (Town got low hitpoint value) (Icon: Vile of Lifeblood/Elixir of Life), a straight value like 10% or 1% all 2 Levels.
-Necropolis: Clavius & Nagash = +350 Gold
replace Nagash = moving Shadowgenerator (WoG)/Intelligence
-Dungeon: Alamar & Jeddite = Resurrcetion,
replace Jeddite = "Scholar" (hero can teach/learn up to lvl5)/other Spell
-Stronghold: works fine
-Fortress: I miss the +350 Gold, also Gerwulf got "Ballista" (not available at blacksmith) and an offensive weapon won't fit to a defensive town maybe replace him for a "+350 Gold" hero.
-Conflux: worse heroes/very unspecial, same as Inferno.
Pasis & Monere = Physic Elements
replace Pasis for "Offense"
Thunar & Erdamon = "Earth Elemental"
replace Erdemon for "Estates"
Ignissa & Fiur = "Fire Elementals"
replace Ignissa for "Archery"
Kalt & Lacus = "Water Elemental"
replace Lacus for "Pixies"
Gelare & Grindan = +350 Gold
replace Gelare = "Sorcery"/"Intelligence"
Luna/Inteus = other ability maybe
-Cove: powerful as they are
