With all the ideas they could've used for the two newly revealed units, Armadillo and the Mech are a bit surprising and underwhelming. While the Forge itself already diverges from H3 aesthetics (and don't give me that "HoMM world already has aliens and robots stuff") I think those two units simply do not fit to what we already have or had in the games. While some find the idea of Dragon Golems repetitive (so many dragons!), the unit already was canon in the franchise somewhat. And Armadillo is sth totally out of the box.

But that is only my impression ofc, maybe I'll grow on these units. HotA teams does such a great work that I think they know what they are doing.

In my opinion this line-up prepared by you seems quite probably ... but Docent Picolan at the forum df2 said that at this moment  no one has guessed (there were many similar concepts).
Let's summarize what we know:
1). T1, T3, T6 was officially announced by the HoTA Crew;
2). Dreadnought / Juggernaut  was officially called in that way by Docen Picolan, so this is obvious reference to the Forge T7.
3). Second reference to the Forge is T2 in your line-up (in Forge it was T3 called Pyromaniac / Pyros) - no officially announced in Factory. We don't know even the right name of this unit – probably it'll be  Mechanics/ Engineers  (formerly: Flamethrowers).  I'm guessing that this units would be posses some kind of new skill  ('repair') … because of that and fact that in Forge it was T3, I'm  not sure that it'll be T2 in Factory (it could be T4 or even T5 – look at the Pit Lords);
4). All humanoid units in the Factory have been published;
5). It was announced building called “Serpentarium” but no unit has been assigned to it. The community said that it'll be probably “Coatl/Quetzacoatl”... but it is maybe even more probably that  this is “Centipede” habitat. “Centipede” was showed in two different forms so this is rather not neutral unit. In my opinion it's chance that “Coatl” could be neutral one or maybe some kind of alternative unit (mechanic know from H4);
6). Unfortunately we don't know nothing about flying units. Probably it has to be at least one. (It looks very similar to the Stronghold: + shooter on T6 + strong, walking unit on T7);
7).It looks like that there is a gap for one missing unit. It would be cool to see one more stempunk/mechanical  unit. There is commonly know that some kind of new mechanics is prepared for Factory … if it'll be “repairing system” then this another mechanical unit at a lower level  would definitely be a good support for it.

i think the number of units in stacks on the screenshots are meant to give us some hints about the line-up. i think this is the weekly growth for each unit + Docent got an extra growth of armadillos from an external dwelling. this tell us:

* juggernaut is a tier 7 unit
* flamethrower girl is tier 2 and a very week one (no current t2 unit has a growth of 10, they all have 8 or 9 (except air elementals with 6)
* armadillo is very strong for tier 3, since all current t3 units have a higher growth: 6 or 7
* Docent lost 1 armadillo, lol, such noob
* flamethrower girl doesn't have any special shot / strike ability - there is no extra icon in the battle layout

From DF2 forums:

"Here a couple of questions arose about the creatures of the Factory.

1. Is the Coatley a big creature ?

2. Is the worm a mechanism ?"

then Docent answers: "A worm is not a mechanism. Coatley is too early for details."

Worm is what you call the centipede, Coatl is the most colorful dragon like unit seen only as an icon from the Factory announce video, at the very end.

6 is probably part of the explanation for the theory you mention in 5 - winged serpents being, well, winged serpents, making couatl flyers is an easy extension (certainly closer than the armadillo changes!), so there's a (potentially) flying unit, with precedent in Might and Magic (and on the same world, too), well within H3 aesthetics, and some indications from the HOTA crew that couatl is within their plans in some form. But given the comments on the correct lineup not having been guessed...

The Armadillo doesn't look out of place for me. It reminds me of the 2 hex boar in HoMM2 and with the halfling as a lvl 1 unit, it really reminds me of the Wizard lineup in H2 with the wasteland theme also.
The potentially 7th level creature looks original but I'm still not sure if I will like it in game.

I'm super excited about the worm! If it had a dodge attack ability (like 20% chance to miss a hit, that would be so awesome!)

Maybe the Centipede will upgrade into the Coatl, in a pupation kind of metamorphosis so that Factory won't have an unupgraded flyer.

The coloufulness of the Coatl icon is reminiscent of a butterfly.

The Mech was kinda expected, it was really about "in what form" we will get one. It's a factory, afrer all. I remember someone talking about it would be problematic for the lore (HommIV) if there were Dragon golems in Factory. In my perspective the Mech is somewhat "easier to accept" than the flamethrower girl, because you can explain Mech with various ways, but flamethrower (presented like this) is totally something we have not seen yet in the Homm-franchise. It's a good looking unit thou, and I already kinda like it.

I wouldn't say Armadillo is "out of the box", as we take a closer look how Factory seems to be desinged. Currently every creature except the Gunslinger is somehow referring to MM/Homm universe. Armadillo for example is in MM5. Halflings are already in the game, flamethrowers and Dreadnoughts are clearly referring to Forge, Coatl is in MM8, and a creature called Giant Worm is in MM Dark Messiah. If we really think about it, it's actually Cove which has the most "out of the box" line up- Nymphs, Nixes and Aussids are nowhere to be seen in the previous games.

As Homm3 is the most rich when it comes to the sheer number of different towns and creatures, so many of the creatures from previous games are already in Homm3. Let's take Homm2 as an example: there are like 2(?) creatures, that are currently not in the game. So with that said, I think it's somewhat unavoidable that surprising creatures come up as parts of Factory or the future towns as well.

I agree, it's very suspicious that we have not received any information about the Coatl since the teaser video, and that was over year ago. The way I see it, the Coatl and Worm are too different to be some sort of Homm5 style of alternative upgrade, but they're too similiar to be Homm4 style of alternative creature.
Maybe, just maybe the idea of Coatl was dropped along the way, and the Worm took it's place instead. Maybe they thought there simply wasn't space for two snake-like creatures in the same line up.

If this turns out to be true, I also hope the "unrevealed creature" would be mechanical, as currently the artificer-builder-theme in Factory isn't as strong as one could think.

It depends on how you count creature upgrades (or in one case, base creature) that have the other side in, creatures with their basic design recycled for creatures and their names recycled for hero classes, the ghost (wraiths of course basically being ghosts renamed and with a less broken special ability), and boars/wolves becoming boar/wolf riders in Heroes 3. All in all I'd say that with what HOTA has already reused there's really only three HOMM2 creatures left with any sort of potential to be reused, and they all require very carefully considered towns as they intrude on the theme of existing town: paladins (namewise doesn't have to be bound to crusaders, the HOMM2 design is sufficiently different that they could be redone in HOMM3 and look like their own unit, there's the 'hook' of a relatively mundane level 6 or 7 human(oid) melee fighter, but they are still close in theme to Castle), royal mummies (the natural upgrade for mummies if they were brought into a town like halflings were, but Necropolis already is the undead town) and war trolls (the natural upgrade for trolls if brought into a town, but while not as severe as mummies, you do still have the natural association of trolls with barbarians, and therefore by extension with Stronghold).
Granted, the HOTA theme found an excuse to bring in steel golems, so technically it is not impossible plague zombies could find a place in HOMM3 somehow, but it doesn't seem to have any of the balancing reasoning that motivated the steel golem's return, and it lacks the precedent that gold and diamond golems bring of base Heroes 3 already having additional out-town versions.

By saying 2, I personally meant Druid and Paladin. However, Druid ofc is now a hero class, and actually the thing it had going with it now belongs to the Monk/Zealot... So it's the Paladin only, really, other creatures are already in the game, with one way or another. And as you said, the Paladin is very close to the Castle theme, only way I can imagine we ever could see it, is with Cathedral, and even there it should be some kind of twisted version of Paladin.

I suppose that if HOTA does get back to Cathedral, they might re-imagine it into something less overtly twisted ('dark Castle' as a splendorous bright Church surrounded by ruins and poverty, for example - Factory shows they can go off in very different directions while still having echoes of the original town concept in there), but all in all, there's more to mine from the RPG games than from H1/2 at this point, given how thorough HOTA have been about re-introducing Heroes 2 things NWC hadn't gotten to in Heroes 3.
Though to tell the truth, while Heroes 3 is very rich in creature type variety, the armadillo does kind of feel a bit out of the box, not in that it is something that looks out of place, but in that I feel like NWC, if they had done an armadillo creature, would have stuck closer to, well, armadillos, and if they'd done something like the Factory armadillo they'd have given it a different name. But it's not too bad - it's clearly not a mundane creature, and mundane creatures being ridden, not creatures on their own, seems a deliberate design choices in H3 between wolves->wolf riders and boars->boar riders.

No idea whats happened since 1.6.

I have not been able to finish one single game.

Homm3 HD all updated to latest version.

Game works fine for about a month of turns.

Then a crash will happen some time after. But you can restart the launcher and reload the saved game file and game will continue to work. One to two more weeks of turns later though, it crashes again and this time reloads wont work, and just causes the game to shutdown without the ability to send a crash report every time you try to open the saved game.

Game is literally unplayable right now beyond one month+ of turns.

This did not happen in the previous version.

All this talk about new units etc is all nice, but pointless if the bloody game doesnt work.

Furthermore, he said that the more water on a map, the more the game will crash.

The Griffin's Diving Attack from Heroes VI makes sense for the Centipede (except it goes underground instead of above it).

It doesn't seem plausible for a creature to dig a tunnel and attack in the same turn.

But then again, there are game limitations to consider.
