Cassiopeia waifu rush is amazing in Cove. Also getting a cannon makes that more OP.

Well, sure it is, but doesn't that also mean that they must ensure the balance to be as on point as possible? If the faction would be built in solo play only in mind, it wouldn't really require many thoughts towards balance.

We should really see the stats of units before there can be much said about balance.

To my knowledge it was confirmed by Docent Picolan that the skills of the heroes will not look like that in the "final version."

Also, when it comes to heroes, I would rather see a bunch of good and memorable heroes rather than weak and forgettable. At the end of the day, player can only pick one, and another one can be found in tavern. If there are good heroes to be used as mains, other players can also utilize them.

Wait, the Captains are getting nerfed? I like how all of them are viable tbh, I'd rather see the other hero classes get that treatment.

Exactly. I also prefer heroes that are designed like that. It doesn't really make much sense to design 16 heroes with only few of them being viable. (I'm looking at you, Inferno!)

Ah, I think I misunderstood you why you said that the "skill won't look like that in the final version." I was a bit confused because people had just been talking about how good the captains are and to my knowledge, the Factory heroes' skills haven't been released yet.

It is true, she starts with both Estates and 350 gold specialty and in HotA Estates is 250/500/1000 gold per day!

I know this will be really difficult to code but instead of war machines having health points, they could have the number of times to get hit in order to destroy them.

For example aid tent has to be hit 4 times by any creature, ballista 5 times, canon 6 times, catapult 10 times in order to destroy it. In late game you can destroy them with 1 hit so they're pretty pointless.

I wish war machines were made more useful in late game, the Aid Tent especially. I am guessing it's just really difficult to code.

Instead of messing with the "Estates" skill - HOTA team should think about this change (for testing only):
1. Capitol income 5000 (instead of 4000)
2. Castle income 2500 (instead of 2000)
3. Player's Flag on Windmills, Water Wheels, Prospectors etc. (like on Mines)

When Cove was released, some "themed" artifacts were also introduced, such as Trident of Dominion and Royal armor of Nix. Will some Factory related artifacts be released when the town comes out?

It would be very easy to code, max 30mins. But in my opinion your suggestion it is not a good solution. Rather give them a level scaling to HP.
Ofc more useful WMs would be great.

I think that's a granted, ngl. About the same or more amount of Ram Ranch content compared to Cove should be released.

So, finally I've found a copy of the original version of my map "The Red Tent". It opens only with version 1.6 of the editor but I wanted to edit it with the last version. Does anyone knows what can I do?

Besides saving it as another map, I can't really see what else you can do. Or, in case that doesn't work, maybe one of the objects included in it was reworked in 1.6.1 or smt, so try removing/replacing that object and re-adding it after you can open the amp with 1.6.1.

Thx. I'm not expecting any HC common user to know anything about this, I just hope the insiders that read this thread give themselves the trouble of asking the guy that knows. Cause whatever might be causing this is certainly quite tricky. For instance, I can open Chaos and Corruption that was finished around the same time (we tested each other maps).

Interesting. I myself have seen several such maps that wouldn't open in the editor, but would be able to play from the game. My guess is that they all use a specific object or the data is encrypted a bit differently for some objects. And maped loads the maps somewhat differently than the game itself, if memory serves right.
