Marzhin said: Contrary to H5 and H6, Rob and Paul gave titles to every theme they composed for H7 when they delivered them, and this one was called The Elven Coronation, indicating they wrote it specifically for the Elves. While not what you'd expect we felt it actually worked pretty well. The Sylvan Elves of Ashan are not exactly the classic Celtic/Tolkienesque Elves. Personally I love it, it's my favourite H7 track so far.
You also have to remember that the Rampart theme of Heroes III was titled Cleopatra on the Nile. Funny to think it was written by Rob & Paul with Ancient Egypt in mind
I think it's great that they are pushing boundaries and trying new things. You have to keep an open mind people

Plus Ashan pushes the boundaries enough already IMO.

Well, King & Romero are the artists composing and it is their choice as musicians that it goes to the elven faction.
I'll wait for Academy final version too, vocals adds quite a lot to the music.

+1. Even without vocals sounds great, I expect Academy theme to be top

Hmm I dunno... While the music's quality is great, I think Sylvan's music fits Academy better and Academy's music fits Sylvan better.
Maybe Rob and Paul were accidentally swap the titles? A very small chance, I know

manutero said: Hi all, I want just to say that I'm pretty sure the last faction would NOT be dungeon or INFERNO but dungeon or SANCTUARY.
They've said that the "theme" of heroes VII is a alliance between the 6 factions against
the demons who will playable (I expect) in the expansion pack.
Care to bring a source where who say that?
It is just his assumption Storm. He looks like a freshman, and he is not limited by our knowledge. He can think what he wants. Sadly, we can't, since we are influenced by what we know. And we can only wish for something else, he can truly believe in it.

The Strength of the Forest is based in nature growing more slowly as nature takes its time, but it's powerful line-up. It is the heaviest line-up at the cost of mobility.
Earth’s Perfect Balance is more classical approach giving different kinds of units and making battles more dependent on unit abilities and mobility rather than just damage.
Sylanna's Fury is our new take on sylvan for more aggressive approach. It relies on taking the battle to the enemy with high initiative and high damage capabilities at the cost of some mobility and special abilities. This is also our option if you wish to have more elf and humanoid-based faction instead of having so many creatures.
Strength - stopped reading after the word "slowly".
Balance - tons of abilities Heroes 6 style.
Fury - marvelous. Voted.
I would have liked to have seen this info before I voted. Although still would not have gone Fury with the Dryad/Pixie fairy units (sorry ChrisD1, I know you love fairies!).
At least we have Master Hunter (core) and Druid (Elite) in all choices....like traditional H5 vibe...these two units will probably be the anchor of the line-up with their ranged abilities.

I'm glad to also inform you that you will have chance to vote for Stronghold line-up a month from now. We have had so many inquiries about Behemoth so we have decided to include it in one of our line-ups.
Oh yeah! But why only in one lineup? It will certainly get my voice, even if the rest of it is filled only with boars.

Thunderbird I'm afraid will not be making it's appearance in this game at least in the original version based on feedback so far.
That's great news. I'm relieved.
Info-services said:
We will also have a water/sea based champion as possible choice and it will be by far the most dominant unit of the game in sea-battles. This unit will be revealed at the line-up vote so hopefully this is something you look forward to.
That's strange... Unless they are going for some coastal-orcs thing.

I see. Then that was all just a hoax.
This should have been made clear from the very beginning.
I propose sanctions in that regard. Misinformation at this crucial moment should be harshly penalized.
