You mean at the blog? Perhaps most people who care or cared about mechanics got tired to wait and also got disappointed with what has been shown (that's a maybe. This is the description of my feeling) and don't see as if there will be any improvement even if it is voiced out, specially because what's being presented still show many features of things people have been complaining a lot since, forever? So, they might not see a point repeating all over.
I'm one that already gave up the franchise, perhaps forever.
I might become addicted to mods.

Who needs to play the game when you can watch the cutscenes? The whole game is a elaborate chain of cutscenes separated by boring and annoying playing sessions, a chore that separates you from the next event in the Isabel-like Dostoyevskyian plot and intriguing dialogue. Erwan is truly wonderful for making such an interesting story

don't look at me, all I can tell you is lore is more important than gameplay in the world of Ashan lol

I am not that pesimistic
I like war cries and hope that other skills will be same good and interesting- if so then ultimately skillwheel will not be as bad
Besides, final shape of skillwheel should be a bit different
On official M&M: Heroesx 7 site there is so big flaming and hating that I think it is enough and therre is no need to do it as well
THe only real concer for me are specialization... but after a lot os raather negative opinion, those will be improved
Btw. some question I have- in HoMM 3, especiallly SoD, there are many ddifferent special grounds adding special morale/ magic bonuses- those air, water or allignement ground (looking like dark cloud, cloud and so)- will some of them be present in M&M: Heroes 7? Cause have not seen/ heard about any of them

as mentioned before, part of the root of the problem here is the massive excess of magic-oriented skills, which tie back to their world bible of dragons and the "rules" of "the IP", which are probably enforced at the creative director's discretion so... basically all roads lead back to Erwin lol

I feel mostly the same, but the skill felt a bit... underwhelming. I still like the warcries idea, but I feel it's just not at full potential, and they are doing some strange stuff. Still, I do feel good about this game overall: I for one like most of the idea of the skill system; I like nearly all the line-ups, creature wise, and their abilities revealed so far are interesting; I like the choice between top tier units; the graphics all look good to me, just needs polish for some models; the flanking shows some promise.
This has really been the only truly negative thing that I can remember, in my eyes. And I still like the skill system itself, but these abilities are lacking.

@JotunLogi
If I recall correctly, they did mentioned that there wouldn't have any special influence of terrain or weather on mechanics of a battle, but visuals.
I don't think this extends to the Adventure Map, which might have these bonuses/penalties over terrain dictated by Pathfinding perks, mainly regarding movement bonuses.
However, more info is needed to have a complete idea about it, as just about everything else regarding mechanics.

Do you see me agree with this bull**** they call skillwheel? I bet that they will say "We got positive feedback regarding the h6 skillwheel and we decided to keep it", an argument they pulled out of their @$$ every-time they said "H6 was a liked game and the feedback was positive" when H6 was a swarm bugs

all i see is the spider circle-jerk instead of keep pushing from the start and never stop about the skillwheel. or for the heroes' specializations. i wonder if anyone at the convention actually tried to explain the merits of random leveling up, and had a dialogue like that with the devs. if they did, i hope i ll find it somewhere here.

Unlike necropolis they weren't presented until after the convention. And don't forget the #GURS campaign

Lizard, just a little note: people during the event played the game and saw this skill system in use, soo... Your point here just doesn't apply to this matter at all.

we all knew way early they were gonna pull smth nasty with the leveling up system and they actually told us so, that they are still "working on it"(which meant bad news). the gurs campaign had a response and it was clear as day that they were not sure about it. people at the convention fully knew that the leveling system was still at stake. so the necriopolis i guesss... *sigh
