Slow down frosty lets not get ahead of ourselves here. That would take effort, something, I am unsure they want to commit to.

Better set up some mousetraps, then. Else we'll get that hero with the ability to increase the production of kobolds by an insignificant number.

Thank you, as well.
some interesting (google translate style) quotes:
H7 level-designer said: Most of the problems of development of Heroes 7 rested on indecent low budget and short development time. Fierce savings in all not allowed to expand staff, capable of qualitatively improve the game.
For example, the development of artificial intelligence (AI) takes only one person. This led to the fact that most levels have been built without the opportunity to test the gameplay in "combat" conditions, and the whole gameplay scenarios had scripted entirely. Designers have received more or less working AI only at the end of the development (the same one single programmer AI still finished his work). Looking back, we can say that attend the creation of sane AI had another prototype stage.
Another problem was the lack of time to test the gameplay. In most cases, it worked out only the main quest line, and alternate player is not thought over behavior. As a result, the player steps on the part of the storyline led to a large number of exploits and critical bugs breaking passage. Needless to say that in order to save time in their levels of designers playing with cheats and basically balancing the real games began in fact only after its release.
P.S. I think this guy would be really happy to read this article

i'm deeply shocked. ubisoft did not fund the game properly and hired the cheapest devs out there. that's why the game is in such a state. oh. my. god. and we are not the only ones who got that. wow.

Why does this tech-demo have better combat sounds than the finished game?

I guess Limbic will be anothetr studio determined to work with Ubi never more...
If AI for the game with AAA prize is programmed by one person, how does the development of cheaper Ubi games look like? One person doing whole game?

Gryphs said: I am not sure there is anything to be surprised over, I mean, we kind of already knew this.
This is true, we "kind of" knew this. What makes it worth pointing out is, in my opinion, the fact that someone directly involved in the development actually confirms it.
And, once again, i cannot help remembering the blabbering of Limbosoft's marketing agents, such as Nox and the rest of that gang, about the game not being underfunded and receiving all the proper budget and care ... I really cannot stand lying @$$es.
As for people who find this normal and not insulting, I have only one thing to say: they got what they deserved. And payed for it. And most probably, they will get it again. And pay for it again. That's how the circle goes, so to speak.
I'm sorry if I sound too strict or whatever, but I have no flexibility in front of lies and rat-like attitude of people trying to hide snowty facts in order to get a profit out of it. The passing of time doesn't make these things more easy to swallow in my eyes.
