The reason they're hamster is probably Warcraft inspired actually. WC Kobolds are RAT/mole people.

Well that explains it. So Guinea Pig is melee and Hamster is shooter even IRL.

Btw. Does anyone (excluding me) hate cartograph so much?
I usually refuse to use this building on the adventure map, or I visit it, have a short look and then reload.
This building totally destroys the excitement from exploring the map for me

I've never seen it on a map whose presence I did not appreciate. But I am more fond of observatories and eyes of the magi.

I don't. But I am a completionist, I want to see the entire map, no pixel covered in shadow, by the time I finish a map. Even if that shadowed area is in an inaccessible area with nothing on it - I just hate that I can't remove it there  .
As you might guess, I hate the Cover/Shroud of Darkness in Heroes3 when used by enemies, especially the Cover since it's automatic every turn.

but you can cast it with all your heroes. In fixed maps it is too OP maybe.

Cant they at least provide another filler patch or something until the expansion? Something to show that the game is still alive? I mean they say they are aiming mainly to polish the game so why dont they give out a filler for us to see if they are up to their word...
