Ubi does have a thing for the overblown..  I don't think that it fits the series but it's just an aesthetic choice and one not related to the game's overall quality.

Strange thing that i heard some elvish and dwarven theme somewhere. I hope they will both appear in the main game and in some expansion. Sadly one will be missing from the main game.
It's trully right that the next vote will be dungeon vs inferno?
I assume from the informations that may be Heroe VI skill points system where i can decide which skill i want will return! Only without spells. Its a good thing but again there will be the ancient heroes problem that i must go for my main town for learning the mage guild's new level 3rd-4th etc spells with my main hero probably after many turns away from my town too. They should resolve it somehow soon. Sometimes it is really annoying.

They've said that we will get Heroes 5 Skill Wheel as skill system, but with a twist.
So it might be the combination of Heroes 6 and Heroes 5.

I don't want to be able to choose whatever skill I want at level up.
It's not exciting.
Just think, you play someone and they have a cool skill and you're like "okay you chose it, so that was easy"....
The true Heroes way is getting options and doing the best with what you are offered to be an efficient hero.

Nice job Arugaf, but where did the Thunderbird come from? I thought that could only fit Stronghold! Two flyers as champions is unlikely. Most likely scenario is Treant being one of the champions and the Sprites added as core (Lynx Rider would be elite).

Nice Arugaf, image looks neat ! Damn I have to admit Fortress looks pretty good there with the Valkyrie and Fire Giant ! Thunderbird in Sylvan is a nice idea too

Why not? In Heroes 4 was Nature with two flyers.

We have seen one. In the Pirates of the Savage Sea Adventure pack.
There the Thunderbird was a boss-creature and rather a one-of-a-kind creature. So no chance we'll be seeing one as a mere Champion.

Yeah it's unlikely to be in a faction lineup, just like Phoenix.
Also, we can't rule out of the possibility that the Druid is a hero in H7:

Plus, I couldn't find proper scans of the Ashan Compendium from the Elven section but the supposed Lynx Rider is shown during the heroes descriptions, so might not be a regular unit either. However, the Treant is named as an iconic ally/creature and in the drawing it does look champion-like...

Too many dwarves. Don't want another human like faction with same units. One is enough.

That is made up, by Arugaf himself. Just like the Stronghold and Necropolis one a few pages back.

Arugaf has quite the talent for cobbling together bits of previous artwork and making it look like a faction.

That's why I put real in ""-s. The icons may be datamined, but the images are created by Arugaf by pasting them over another artwork.
So not even those are real, even if they are as accurate as possible given what we know.

I'm ok with those lineups, except for blade dancers, they are VERY unoriginal and uncreative. And Storm-Giant said it well about thanes and fire giants.
