As a reminder to everyone in regards to pictures that contain text and posting in general:

Correctly censored vulgar words may be used, but not for insults, abuse, racism, sexism, provocation or aggravation.
Correct censoring means replacing all letters in the vulgar words with asterisks by holding the SHIFT key and pressing the number 8 key (US keyboards). For example: when **** hit the fan. Any other method of censoring vulgar words partially or entirely will be considered incorrect censoring and may be penalized. Actual or misspelled vulgar words will be penalized immediately.
I am not going to be throwing out penalties for any infractions before this post and will give everyone an opportunity to correct any infractions. This is just a reminder that we have certain guidelines in regards to pictures. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to HCM me about it.

You know the drill. 4 girls come to a concert. First everybody wants the well dressed aristocratic goth girl. Then the eccentric rock girl with lots of spikes and torn jeans takes the attention. Then, when the guys get brave enough, they talk to the cute anime nerd girl in stockings and a maid dress. And Ubi got stuck with their socially awkward friend, whose outfit is made from things borrowed from her 3 friends.
Bur yea, better than twilight, it got the obnoxious vegan girl who will talk all night about how your belt was once a cute animal and stop you from eating that burger.
Is that how you really see it? I don't. Ubi didn't get stuck with anything, they just tried to reinvent the wheel when no one asked for it.
Look, no one blames them from trying to be "original", the problem is that in pursuing that they became blind to the main point: creating a VAMPIRE. That's what people complain about. That thing they did there not only it's not original (Warcraft, WH, W/e) but it's also not a Vampire. When I showed it to my mom, she said it's a "knight with sword".
There are certain features people expect from a creature. With a Vampire they want to get a sanguinary appearance, claws, fangs, black/red capes with large collars and a malevolent stare, not a poker faced supermodel wielding a sword.
Heroes was supposed to be a game where you would play with mythological creatures and monsters from tales. Now it's become a cheap mainstream bullsnow. Vampires drink vials of green venom instead of cups of blood. They teleport instead of becoming shades or bats to travel. Yea, brilliant. As I said, you don't reinvent the wheel when there's no need to.

Vampires still drink blood, they just have other reason to do that.
About turning into the bats - it's not trait of all vampires, same as turning into mist or command on animals or hypnose are also sometimes absent. Same as very lot of others traits (check various wikis for more informations).
There isn't one, true vampire archetype: some die from water, sun or silver (yeah, right ), others are immune for these and wooden stake in heart only slow there down a little.

As concept, yes, but there is an interesting part in their origin: from Cain/Judas, through differences between ancient necromacers, to pact with the devil after losing your wife... and there is aging backward and being a lich ealier. ____________

Warcraft Death Knight concept does not work as a vampire because ... Warcraft death knight is not a vampire. In Warcraft lore this is a "vampire":
Should they atleast base Vampire on this guy it would work much better imo (minus the horns). IF they are so bent on copying Warcraft.
Indeed, not only did Ubi copy WoW, they copied it wrong on top of that.
How can you mess up that?
Or ... you know ... try to come up with your own Vampire design? Maybe that would work, but I'm not expert. That said, I still actualy like overall look of H7 (I like Warcraft look aswell so...), and I can overlook this things, if atleast game is good. But you know. Room for improvement exists ... I won't deny.
