What did you expect? It's a late 90's game :-D I never said they look good, just the most aristocratic, but since H3 and MaM VIII had nosferatu lookalikes, there is not much competition in this field.

i think i expected less baggy clothes, similar to h4 vampire. you're right though, ain't much competition i guess.

And these baggy clothes are also more aristocratic in fantasy IMHO than a black tuxedo. You know... a more or less modern outfit :-P.

Indeed, this would be best option. If armor is presented properly. I would also say it's the same idea for sword. If it's rapier or small sword, that aristocrats would use, it would be totaly diferent than this oversized useless piece of junk taken from wow ...
but alas, we are dealing with Ashan aesthetics, and a crature that is not realy a vampire ... so realy, I'm affraid there's not much hope here.

it's actually a fan mod lol, but believe it or not, the legends say that once upon a time, long before Ashan came to be, most computers were so slow they couldn't even render 3D characters and had to resort to 2D sprites instead (I know right)

Although I understand that vampires in Ashan are supposed to be beautiful, I cannot comprehend one thing - why all of their depictions as units have to have the same hairstyle...?

As you turn around and reach for the door, you realise you are too late! Claws sink into your arms, locking you in place. You try to turn your head in fear, only to be nauseated by one of the Vampires' bad breath as he leans closer, fangs exposed. Then, his teeth sink into the softness of the flesh of your neck, draining the very blood out of your body. The other Vampires soon join him, ending your life.
Game over. What do you wish to do?
1 - Restart
2 - Load game
3 - Quit in disgust (a real Vampire uses a sword, damnit!)

Since they are not gonna change the abilities of the Vampire but only the visuals, i have changed from Night Lady to Blood Monster. Thought it will be odd to see a blood monster with teleport and i do believe it will end up looking underwhelming.

Hahahaha, no unfortunately. I expected the night Lady to get some extra traits and not only looks. If for example it would get a mesmerizing ability or hyptonize etc i'd go for her. She doesn't look bad, keeps the Aristocratic pose and attire and resembles a Vampire.
Now the blood monster is gonna be something like a ghoul with Life Drain spell on it and teleport. Not to say i am much happy about it but can't do anything about it either.
P.S. I am not rooting for any of the Vampire new designs. Whatever wins, wins and i'd still be kinda happy.

Forgive me, it looked like you thought that "it will be odd to see a blood monster with teleport" and changed your vote then.
But consider changing to Night Lady... it's not so bad ^_^
