I finally decided to vote for the Blood Monster - at the very least, I do hope that we will see the Night Lady in one of the character models, but it simply did not seem as fitting for the Vampire unit.

The thing is I really think a Warrior Vampire is a cool concept, always have. Heroes 6 managed to ruin even this image for me. So yeah, I am voting the Blood Monster Vampire!

Tough decision.
The Blood Monster is the closest to NWC Vampire, in the sense that it doesn't use a sword and favours hand-to-hand combat...but why it has to be so Arthas-like, urgh
I do like the idea of a female vampire, but this is just another Vampire(ss?) Knight with a sword...dissapointing.
I finally go with the Blood Monster, hoping to see an evolution of this approach in the future.

Really nice that we got to vote this too.
To be honest, all three Vampires seem good to me(yes, even Vampire Knight with Sword), but I've voted for Blood Monster just because I want to see something different from H5/H6/DoC etc.
It looks like it will win though, nice.

Eventhough a girl Im not very fond of female units in heroes games. But I always wanted to have female vampires... dont care about other units but vampiress..I hope she win

I'm more torn about the vampire vote than I am about the lich vote. I'm actually very fond of the sword vampires of the past two Heroes... but with that said, I'm not so fond of them as to deny those who prefer the "hands-on" approach. It does seem the most "vampire", after all. In my eyes, indecision on my part means I am a wildcard, and as a wildcard, I opt to side with those who have been passionate for a particular option since day one. On that note, I've voted for Blood Monster.

If the Vampiress wins I demand a lore reason why only female Vampire join the army....
This is the reason why I like Vampire Monsters, they are equal. Both female and male monsters are deadly for sure.

Actually, it's just like Guardians or Ghosts - there are both male and female soldiers of this kind in the army, just represented by a female in the game.
Male vampires are also a part of undead host and this fact, presented in H5, H6, CoH, DoC and Heroes Online, was not retconned.

I never liked those tanky vampires. To me, a Vampire is a create that stalks in the shadows of the night, perhaps seducing a potential prey before sinking his teeth into the soft flesh, lusting for that precious red liquid ...
In Heroes 5 & 6, the Vampire was more of a swordsman and a tank, with a drain ability as a side dish. In my opinion, the drain ability should be its main ability, so on the battle field it should act as a DPS unit, not a tank unit. It shouldn't be overly powerful, because it should be able to regain lost health by attacking warmblooded, fleshy things on the battlefield. The only utensils it should need would be a fork and a knife ... ehh, no, really, just the pointy teeth in its mouth, nothing else. Well, perhaps some claws, too.
Not a difficult choice for me: the Blood Monster. I just hope he says "blahg" when he attacks .

I think the bigger question that wants explanation would be "if we have skull-faced liches (Undead Sorcerer), then why are all the vampires flesh-faced?"
I'm being facetious, though. Yeah, kinda silly, but ultimately it serves as a handwave excuse for "why can't I upgrade my liches into vampires... because, y'know, lore implies that's how that works?" Simple - the cadaver liches opt to stay cadaver liches, and those are the ones that join the army, with non-army liches are the ones that hang around the city and eventually become vampires. #HeadCanonThatTotallyMakesSenseInAshan
