After another try, I got to know AI is trying to use the spell of  Vulnerability  to lower hero's every creature to the minimum possible value(zero). If the defense of all of hero's creatures has reached zero, pit lord will start attacking either using its spell(fire ball etc) or melee attack. Its first priority is to lower the defense of all hero's creatures as much as possible. I can say this AI is not ruthless enough, but strategic to some point.  


Also I have tried the mod of mass spell icons, it is compatible with your mod, if anyone wants to use, he can apply himself.


Regarding the resolution of the skill screen, you can try to use slightly bigger fonts or bold fonts and adjust the layout if you think worth doing that. Anisotropic filtering is set to maximum, but still not comfortable to see.

Already tried, couldn't fit. Do you use CRT or TFT panel, also what is maximum resolution?

Guess will so much tect to translate in beta 3?

On PC i have English TotE and MMH5.5 installed.

On Laptop Polish TotE with 3.1 patch, Polish Gold Patch(All Campaigns along all scenarios from H5 and HOF, vanila menu background).

I just don't have mixed text in game.

BIG DAY TODAY! Mod has been updated, critical bugs in RC1 have been fixed:

MMH55 Latest

RC2a will include all major features H5 was missing in comparison to previous HOMM games and will be far better balanced than any of the previous installments. After years of mathematical analysis and testing you will experience what it means to have might and magic classes balanced against each other regardless of the size of the map or the amount of months that have passed in the game.

New Features and Changes in RC1

-34 New Artifacts, including many new ultimate items. New Artifact Framework
-New Backpack system allows for same amount of effective artifact slots as H3/4.
-Improved RMG with new artifacts, and new artifact quest system for ultimate items. Also revamped seer quests and reduced artifact duplication.
-The non-cheating AI (casual game) performs much better if heroic or impossible difficulty is selected.
-Tuned down excessive creature growth in Battle Sites.
-New Scarcity templates for RMG allow generating maps without rare resource mines.
-Added all new content to default campaign/singleplayer and multiplayer maps.
-Added isabel/nicolai wedding movie before main menu
-Greatly improved Combat Balance: Tuned down excessive combat damage, battles are not decided in first turn and/or by shooters, better melee tactics, magic heroes have time to use their powers, primary skills are of equal value, spell turns are more dynamic (like KB), Destructive and summoning spells effectiveness scales better in late game.
-Magic schools: 'master of...' skills teach heroes one spell, summon elementals lowered to level 3, summon hive lifted back to level 4 and effectiveness improved. Fire mines places more mines if hero has more spellpower.
-Enlightenment balance fix is made permanent, consequently: arcane exaltation and occultism give more spellpower
-Added 2 extra knight to fix balance issue on large maps with multiple haven players (knights unavailable for training), new renegade knights allow unique new gameplay
-Fixed lot of balance issues with starting heroes, most magic heroes start with magic school, reavers start with necromancy.
-low level creature specs (free join) will get a strong boost after the hero acquires more native towns (otherwise high level growth specs would be better)
-Fixed wulfstan not having ballista in campaign.
-All old demo maps are removed because they don't offer full content anymore and a smaller amount of new ones take their place.

WARNINGS FOR BETA 2 USERS !!!:

-H5_Game.exe can no longer be used to generate Advanced Random maps (Artifacts are missing) there is a new MMH55_Utility exe file to take its place.
-The old installer has a small bug: sometimes it does not remove the H5_Game shortcut from startmenu, if it is still there after uninstallation, delete it manually (right-click), The new installer does not have bugs.
-All previously generated ARMG maps are now outdated and do not support the new artifacts, you will have to generate new maps or play some of the new demo maps. Check for version number in map description (1.2 = with NAF)

I am using ordinary LCD panel. I used maximum resolution(1080P) that my screen supports. I see the definition of the skill page(with specific description for each skill) is a bit lower than any others. As I am using wide screen (16:9), the skill page only occupies part of my screen. I suggest you can extend that to full screen and adjust the font size up a little. It will be more good-looking.

I believe This version is still subject to adjustment?

And can you suggest what is the suitable time to translate the materials ? This release or later releases?

I am planning to translate them into Chinese for Chinese fans. But I see you have new stuff(artifacts added) in this version, so new text have been created.

Great Magno! Once again you surpassed my expectations .

One question though, how are the racial skills not on first slot doing in RC1? I had this question asked by a fan. Are they still not working?
Is this unfixable and to what extent?

For example - if combat is not on slot 1 (for a knight) do you get the retaliation bonus but never get the ability to train?
Or you dont get anything (not even the retaliation bonus).

@Idonger, wait till the first final release than you will translate it.
I will do the same for Bulgarian release.

P.S. Coincidence or not on the release day the FB page passed 150 fans!

Oops forgot, because demo maps needed to be removed (NAF) you cannot continue them. Also scripts are always compiled in the saves, so if you run an old save in RC1 the new stuff will not work.

DDS textures are squares, therefore they cannot fill the entire 16:9 screenspace, unless you cut them off but then resolution will be problematically low.

everything works except the training/avenger buildings, therefore i needed to add the 2 extra knights and avenger is replaced for druid/warden.

Hey Magno,

One of the fans reported bug in RC1.

" As for the RC1, Harkeneraz, custom map, gets daily increase in attack (by the end of... 5th or so week, had 346 attack...dunno is it artifact from dragon utopia or smt)."

IMPORTANT!!!

The bug with Harkenraz was caused by hellwrath skill and CRITICAL: It gives +2 attack per second after level 20! Now that's called overpowered!

Everybody who downloaded RC1 today (sunday) will have to uninstall it and redownload the whole thing, sorry for inconvenience. All links are replaced the correct file is named RC1a

Bug was fixed in 20 seconds but reuploading was 3 hours

Yes, but if the map contained an inferno player then, you could run into the bug, because the old scripts will be compiled in your save.

Hey this mod is unbelieveable, downloaded it yesterday, get the final version today and Im playing it nonstop I´m having so much fun with it thanks for this mod

I found some bugs while playing for academy elementalist..

Master of fire in destruction magic is supposed to learn me fireball, but it didn´t appear in my spellbook (can be the same with other similiar skills like master of cold etc. but I didnt try those)
Arcane extalation from enlightenment should give +2 spellpower (works) and another +2 after lvl 20 (doesnt work, got this perk after I hit lvl 20 so maybe thats because ?)
Expert occultism should give +1/3/6 spellpower. Doesnt work (tried on both elementalist and warlock)
Empowered armageddon has three bugs: 1st, ignite doesnt work, 2nd, it doesnt do bonus damage to creatures in the middle of the battlefield, 3rd, 50% armor reduction doesnt work. All of those things works with normal armageddon. Casterˇs luck worked with the empowered arm. though.

Hopefully I helped a bit and thanks again for this awesome mod
