Ok I have found the issue with the hotsprings map, it can only occur on maps where some AI player(s) do not have any heroes on day 1, just an empty town.

So that is why it never occurs on RMG maps and will only occur on custom maps with such a setup. My plan is to fix the issue in a reupload of RC9b and then delete all other older versions, because this issue is a support nightmare.

I hope the fix for RC10 can be uploaded simultaneously with the updated creaturepedia.

for some reason whenever i modify the data apk in the date dir(for example activating town governor and stuff) it doesn't change in game(i save changes) so does anybody know how to fix this?

on a different subject what does the obelisks and eye of the magi do on this mode? i didn't got to collect all of them in single game

It will be very hard to see from here what part of the procedure you are doing wrong, maybe you can upload your settings file

Obelisk details are in the ARMG manual

@strigvir: For me it did not crash or at least not in the next 3 turns.
Maybe it was a performance related crash and lookahead depth should be lowered?

was this in RC10 Beta?

Isn't lookahead depth a pre-game option? Can it be changed mid-map?

lookahead depth cannot be changed midgame, but i'm just guessing

@Magno,

I am working on some scripts for H55 and I need the place of your scripts where artifacts are matched to artifact sets.

I found that all sets and artifacts are defined in H55-Tables.lua but I cannot find where  the relation is.

From this file I see that scrolls and wands  artifacts are removed from the game. Should they be removed from the manual too?

@dredknight: somehow your post triggered me to find out the dwarven set doesn't give a bonus in RC10 beta, it actually needs to be combined with the moonblade. (bug)

also that is not where it is defined, and scrolls and wands are not removed, since this thread is not for modding tutorials I will send you an IM about this.

@twidel: any file hosting site like strigvir, but your reaction reveals it may be less trouble to try to follow the tutorial on moddb once again very carefully.

Here is a feedback from the Russian forum. It is not very accurate but I asked him to elaborate. Also if he is correct the "Dwarven set" issue may be relevant for other artifacts as well.

Tried all artifact sets and they all work, and they can all be replaced with their super-artifacts. Dwarven artifact set is buggy, moonblade is trigger for bonus and is actually getting replaced instead of shield of the dwarven kings.

Also tried to play stigvir's savefile and it did not crash in the next 3 turns for me either.

Moreover, Succubus Mistress cannot use gating, not even after they use Cleansing.

We're puzzling you, i know, but since you take the time to hear us, hear this also.

All towns start with heroes (modded portraits). Contracts doesn't work also. Occultism skill works on first 2 weeks, stopped on third. Elementalist support units on Tower Garrisons doesn't work at all.
I suspect that because of some scripts that the map maker add, they block or stop the mods scriptwork.

Also i mention an error with cursor flickr in previews mod upload. You suggested to lower the LOOK AHEAD DEPTH. I did it with the beta, and the error didn't occur so far :-)
BTW: I didn't understand what Look Ahead Depth option does.

Yes you are right and it also adds game modifications and gives some heroes new unique Ids not recognized by H55. So this one is permanently incompatible with Heroes 5.5
