Just a few notes. Take my opinion for what it is worth...
Summoning seems to be a too powerful for creeping. It is both strong in the end game and too consistent in the early game. It isn't necessarily because of the spells, but because of the perks the way they are now.
+Fire Trap is simply overpowered for current coefficients. It can deal with all slow walkers far too easily.
+Master of Conjuration gets you Summon Elemental, a very useful week 1-2 creeping spell. With Pyromancy, Summon Elemental dominates week 1-2.
+You can get Firewall, a very powerful summoning destruction spell, from Pyromamancy. I believe Firewall is level 4 right now, but I could be wrong. Firewall is powerful enough to give your hero a destruction component without actually having destruction.
+Master of Life gets you Regeneration. If you have a light/summoning magic user, a very common combination, this is what you want.
+Both Phoenix and Hypnotize are amazing payoffs at Level 5.

I need an objective opinion on how hard are campaigns on normal difficulty with 5.5 mod? I got a person that complains that AI is very hard on some missions but as I have never played the campaigns (even without the mod) I cannot give opinion .
When it is hard? when it is easy? what makes or breaks the AI on campaign?
I've had this goal for some time but never got around to realizing it: playing the campaigns with MMH5.5 and give feedback where it's due.
I'm completely bogged with work, unfortunately...

Thanks for the update, Magnomagnus.
I installed the hotfix for RC10, but sadly, the 'Permanent cursor flickering' is still present after a while (flickering started after a few hours of playing).
Lookahead is set to lowest setting.

A few things I noticed:
1) Not sure if this is intended, but I've seen witch huts get skills for character classes that is not in there skill wheel, and have it stick. For example, I was able to get occultism on a wizard.
2) Empowered Fist of Wrath was treated differently from normal fist of wrath, at least as far as targeting golems. The normal fist of wrath bypassed magic resistance whereas the empowered one did not.

A FB user said that there is no more flickering issue when playing on the Hard Look ahead depth map size is medium. He finished the map successfully.
He will try on larger map next time.
P.S.
@Magno, check messenger.

I think I need to make some different exe files for the purpose of testing the cursor issue, to try to determine if any hack is causing it. I will come back to this.
EDIT: Also if anyone has downloaded a custom map from internet that causes the cursor issue very frequently and quickly, then immediately let me know which map that is.
@Azalen:
1 tolerated, too much work
2 must be bug from TOE and unfixable

This is valid for other spells as well.
I can recall (a long time ago so not to be taken as a fact) that I noticed empowered armageddon does not apply master of fire perk effects while normal armgaddon did.

It is worth mentioning any person really committed to improving the campaign should also be willing to actually edit the maps, since I'm currently occupied with other stuff and limit myself to fixing gamebreaking issues.
EDIT: Also there was a chinese person who did a big remake of the campaigns already, but I don't know where the files are, but they may be interesting for reintegrating with QAI adjusted scripts.

UPDATE
Beta 2 has been replaced with Beta 3
MMH55 RC10 Beta 3
-Fixes issue Sylvan T6, Inferno T6 & Fortress T6 costing the wrong resources and thereby completely ruining the balance to even worse levels than TOE retail version.
This was a bug so stupid, you must immediately download Beta 3 and forget Beta 2 ever existed!!!

Magnomagus,
One more thing to add to the FAQ.
Q: Why I cannot tick the 8th skill box wherever I click?
A: You are using the wrong exe file. Eight skills option is available on MMH55_64.exe and MMH55.exe only. Other exes does not support it (Utility.exe, Utility_64.exe).
Also check messenger for some minor stuff.

Trying to update my 5.5 impossible strategy post for version 10, but it appears I have hit the "1 year editing limit". Anyone know a moderator who can reenavle editing for me?

Yes topics that are more than one year old cannot be edited by original poster, because of...tragedies from the past.
However as Magno said simply contact appointed moderator so he can rate the thread as 'project', you should be able to edit your OP now.

Magno,
I see that Battlecry attack bonus devisor is 5. Is this the revised value after the 3.33 -> 2.5% nerf? It seems weak for level 3.
This means that at level 30 all stronghold creatures will get 7 attack ~ 17.5% bonus damage.
