@thGrypn: I think i still prefer to keep the old branching, because now dredknight has also made a skillwheel using that structure and they are a more natural fit for the 4:3 ratio of the overview screens
I think this one is finished: MMH5.5 Stronghold Classes and Heroes Trailer

some late game feedback.
This is month 6 week 1.
Ghost production:
- Hero specialization: 0.3 ghosts per level.
- Necromancy -> abandoned mines - 20-25 ghosts per picked mine. Hero can get the ghosts from the mine to the army.
- Tier 3 army artefact - It produces 1 unit per 2 Knowledge. Hero has 40 knowledge which is 20 ghosts per week.
- Necromancy Dark Points - 1120 DP equal 160 ghosts per week at the current state of DP.
Dark points pool distribution:
- Initial - 150
- 3 x Amplifiers - 300
- hero and governors - the rest.
Some memorable artefacts: Necromancy amulet, 2 rings of vitality.
Memorable skills: Vitality.
Here is a rar with 2 replays: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fhuwsmlc5qd3yts/necro-vs-sylvan-mass-ghost-01.rar?dl=0
Sylvan wins only because the battle is pre-talked - Necro wont use Dark magic and other negative things.
Also have in mind that the Sylvan player is newbie (we teach him now) so nevertheless of the balance he would lose by default. I share this just for statistical reasons.
on Month 7 the Necro player had 3300 ghosts.
P.S.
Another thing regarding Inferno
Cahl and Harkenaz both have the same efficiency for their specialization 0.6*hero level. Though the first gives imps while the second Demons.

it works this way.
The first time you get a mine there are ghosts inside.
You can go in with the hero and pick them (similar to what is outpost).
Same works for abandoned mine.
Not sure if they spawn again next week.
Actually when I think about it a little there can be 3 cases.
- they spawn
- they do not spawn
- they spawn only if there are ghosts inside already.
it depends on how you have codded the skill.

Thanks Magno, I found the formula on the old skillwheel it look ok .
One more thing. Regarding those 3 Renegade knights. I know they are added to make up for that training handicap when combat is not on first slot but why is that penalty specialization included? Is it hardcoded or there is some secret meaning to it. From the three just Andreas specialization may become OP (note: 0.5% init per level) when combined with light magic.

Hi all. I'm currently playing a XL map with 4 players (3 AI's) and it seems that the strongest AI takes really long on its turn, about 1 to 2 minutes. Playing in Utility. Are there any tweaks I can make to fix it?

Utility.exe uses vanilla AI, which is notorious for long turn times.

That explains it. Thanks, will use MMH5.5.exe if it gets unbearable.

In-game Skill Wheel
@magno, @dredknight
I just finished my feasibility study on implementing a comprehensive Skill Wheel in-game, and it's doable. In fact, I developed the framework and well, it works
It now needs a ton of labor, which is something I had foreseen, but more importantly, I need the icons for all the skills and perks. I found the raw icons for most, but not all, under the data.pak file, which doesn't seem to include anything introduced in HOF and TOE.
Could you help me out here?
To be clear, I need the raw icons with transparent backs.
Thanks! It's gonna be good

Hi everyone
I have been playing this amazing mod for some time but since I upgraded to Windows 10 (from 8.1) all the textures in the game are blurry no matter how high the graphics setting are. How to do I solve this problem (also how do I take screenshot since printscreen doesn't work - there is still no screenshot folder in my Heroes 5 directory)?

Laptop or PC?
How many VGAs and their model (including embedded)?
ssd or hdd drive?
Do you have latest drivers for the VGA?

@Belisarius the second one are with transparent background. They are the one I use in the wheel. I believe the issue is in your editor.
When you open them you see white, but white is set as transparent background. However if you save them again and do not point that white is transparent you loose the transparency.
@Muzinzafrika VGA is your Video card adapter it can be NVIDIA or Radeon.
In case of Laptop you can have 2 VGAs. One embedded and one external it widely acceptable configuration.
You can check this the following way:
- Open "My Computer".
- Right click in the blank space -> properties.
- On the new menu click "Device Manager".
- There find "Display Adapters" and expand it.
Tell me what you see there (or attach a screenshot).
