Believe me I know this out of experience, most people go to the moddb download section and only read the words 'CZ' and 'download', nothing else. for every additional step you lose half of your crowd.

That's why you want one file on moddb that has all text in one package.

and this file can be in h5u format.

I agree it will be a huge advantage to have only 2 files and in the same folder.

So I will make two files: the text one and the dialogscenes one.

Unfortunately the scenarios do not exist on the internet as far as I know, I have already searched for them.

punctuation - , sign missing in Master of Ice - "The hero learns the Ice Bolt spell, and is granted..."

text issue - The formula in the additional text of Basic/Advanced/Expert Occultism is related to Expert % on all levels.

consistency issue - Back to the void - there is unnecessary "+" sign.
"Increases the hero's Attack by +2 and all...."

Hellfire text issue - it says "Demon lord" instead of "hero" - "Creatures under Demon Lord's control are granted a 30% chance".
Not only Demon lord has hellfire.

Also did you change hellfire damage? text says "15 + 15*(Spellpower + 1)" the one before was just "15*(Spellpower + 1)".

Also how does the cultmaster works exactly? I am particularly interested in the Multiplier how come growth correlates with those 4 numbers that are set?

The correct formula is actually 15+15*SP because according to defstats multiplier and base value are not necessarily the same.

In case the question wasn't clear out of context, I was talking about that stats perk you mentioned boosting empathy. It seems though it was another dead end, sigh...

Alright, how about this, with Critical Strike being the starting perk:

Offensive Branch: Chain Attack -> Furious Charge (same icon as Unstoppable, which now increases army initiative and attack)

Defensive Branch: Retaliation Strike -> Preparation

Punishing Branch: Avenging Strike -> Stunning Blow

Think about it, everything makes sense and perks in same branch have synergy...

I agree retaliation perk is useless. It must be upgraded into smth better.

I want to congrate the new version of the game. It plays great!
New wheel of skills is useful, I only wish it could show (or the skill choose window) the heroe's class. Yesterday I played inferno and I wasn't sure the hero I play is gate master, knight or whatever.

Anyway the first time my ballista was able to shoot 4 times. Was it from always or something has been changed?

I think i also like to keep the critical strike icon in place because it matches avenging strike, for example it can be called:

bloodlust - increases attack by +1 for every point of luck.

i cannot make initiative boosts.

Thanks for your comment on the skill wheel, but this bit got me baffled. You can readily see your hero's class on the hero screen, right next to his/her portrait. So, you have this information before entering the skill wheel...

I think it is unnecessary to try and make the starting perk's icon match the middle branch, because the starting perk is actually on all branches. I hope you see what I mean...

In fact, I intend to tweak the skill wheel background to better show perk progression. Currently, which is the original structure, makes it look like there are three branches with the middle branch having 3 perks and others 2 perks. The reality is that there is an independent starting perk and three branches with 2 perks on each...

I still think the thematic structure I suggested above is better, regardless of what icon you would like to use where.

Shame about no initiative boost but an attack boost is good enough. Are you sure though tying it purely to Luck is a good idea? I mean Luck is already very powerful, I'm nos sure it's a good idea to make it such an "must" skill... How about +2 Attack and +1 Attack for every 2 points of Luck?

I can't judge the visuals of that, but this is not true and I don't want the wheel to reflect that, the first three perks are branded as STANDART_PERKs in skills.xdb they are not part of a branch.

EDIT: note that if they were branched av strike+chain attack+stunning strike would not be possible.

The thematical visual match of the branches is extremely important to me therefore the critical strike perk must have the unstoppable charge icon (the skill can be renamed however).

and you are right my proposal was overpowered, but it is capped at 5 and i can add a -1D penalty.

alternatively the skill could be named 'spiked armor' and the effect be one of my previous proposals.

OK, you're right, I was thinking only about the hero's that start with Combat skill, for whom Retaliation Strike is the mandatory starting perk (correct me if I'm wrong there). For hero's that newly acquire Combat, they're free to pick either of the first three perks...

Spiked armor sounds good but it sounds like +Attack and +Defense...

Hi. Can you fix  campaign, please? There are plenty of bugs. Enemy heoes doesn't move (4 mission 3 campaign HoF) or kill necessary stacks of monsters (1 mission 2 campaign ToE). Heroes don't have their abilities (Arantir for example). Campaigns are now almost unplayable.

Some text issues:

- Eternal servitude - In the main description it is written that the skeletons gained come from knowledge, while in the sub-description the formula for skeletons gained is based on Hero Level. Which one is correct ? What is the real formula?

Chilling bones - "The hero gains +2 Defense and all undead troops under the hero's control are enchanced with Ice enchancements."

The taughtology is really not necessary, it can be any of those:

"The hero gains +2 Defense and all undead troops under the hero's control are /imbued with/shielded by/ Ice enchancements."

Banshee howl - starts with "Grants a hero an ability to call upon death itself..." it should be "The hero is granted an ability to call..."

Let me know which of the above ( and the post before) are going to be changed so I can make the necessary changes too.

Also where do I get the icon for emissary of Darkness is it new or it is from the game?
