In the game itself, the description does not say anything about +100 every day, regardless of the battles. Why  does PathOfWar_MovePointsBonus remained equal 200?

I'm not sure you are using a translation but path_of_war gives +200 after every battle, but since 100 is used for the battle itself it will look like +100.

That is, I get +100 movement points every day and in addition to this, instead of spending 100 movement points on a battle, I get 100 points per battle? In this case, if I fight 1 time per day, then my bonus (300mp) is already more than one level of logistics.

no you get 200 for 1 battle and 400 for 2 battles

somebody told me i need to install pest in order to have sim turns. But when i install i says im missing some files. Do I even need pest or what..

Pest is integrated in Mmh55.
You don't need to install anything.
Just enable it in the create game menu

Hi @Magnomagus. I play 5.5 for a long time yet, since RPE. So ther is a bug with orkish Town Management / Talisman, because if you got full talisman - grid is full and you can't use town management, so it's a dilemma, what to use - town gate or town portal. How this can be fixed? Mb it's possible to change second grid size in orc casts panel? Thank you.

Okay i tried playing online through gameranger and it doesnt work. what happens when we start the game is beyond interesting...every time i host or i join some game the game normaly loads and then suddenly the map called dark messiah opens with a cutscene which if you skip at once you can actually play with 4 ai players. Its really strange. WHat is my problem then has anyone had this situation? I have done everything the Dread knight said in his link so please little help!!

Dear supporters,

i just got back to HOMM V that i played A LOT 10 years ago and discovered this mod, which looks very promising and like all i would wish for if playing this game seriously on custom maps, multiplayer, ...
But: this time i'm playing it with my kids for the campaign: they are 5 and 7 years old and love follow an easy story, defeat the opponents, collect treasure ... HOMM V is perfect for that.

So ... i have a few questions about the HOMM 5.5 mod:

1) First of all: when playing only the campaign and for fun, not necessarily for a real challenge: does the campaign actually benefit from this mod, or is it more like a complication of things, technically with the campaign scripts, mechanically with the available options, and tactically with smarter opponents?
Currently i'd prefer a "flawless" play-through (without totally boring me out) over a nice tactical challenge and if things just get more complex, this mod might not be the right one for me this time. I may come back to it later then ...

2) if the mod is still the right thing for me: i have bought the game on steam (that is: HOMM-V-ToE 3.1) and installed the mod RC13 and Patch RC13a (as RC14 is not for campaign). It's interesting that i can also play the HOMM-V vanilla and the HOMM-V-HoF campaign without having bought those games. Are they coming with ToE and are enabled by the mod, or are they actually installed by the mod?

3) I also installed the german dialogue and subtitles files and the german translation for RC13a. The cutscenes now have german language but still have english subtitles. most interface stuff is german, but some things remain in english. Did i do something wrong or is it supposed to be that way?  It's not really an issue, but maybe it's a known thing and can be fixed?

The RC13a campaign experience is merely intended for people who already know the TOE and he campaign well and want to try the campaign with h55 features, in your case it sounds like it is better to play it in vanilla although this won't make it flawless, as TOE also has bugs, it will be less difficult for sure.

Toe does not include the vanilla campaigns, they are installed by the mod.

If german text is missing then certain english text isn't overwritten by german text files of later date. Don't know why that happened,. unpacking the german text updating the file dates and and repacking them can fix this.

Are there any plans to give Nethermancers a model unique from Necromancers?

Also, to govern a town, does a hero need to be of the same faction as the town?

unlikely to happen since there are pretty much no people working on professional quality new models and this is very difficult

How do you disable some artifacts that Heroes 5.5 Mod added? I mean the ones that give resources/units based on your knowledge and resurrects some of the lost units and etc? I feel like my and our friends experience gets a bit bloated with them, we'd expect to get items that give are equipable from the enemies. Hope someone feels the same!
