101.99% chances, since Galaad is fighting with the blackie, I had time to implement it


And mummy got a new hat.


Also I'm open to suggestions as long as they are not HERSIES . So feel free to state your ideas on what I should modify/make next

Could you do something about Sprite's colour scheme? Into something like this:


Can you transform Dryad to be reminiscent of Dryad from H5?


Could you play a bit with ghost/banshee a bit and change them into smoke-like with a fiery bits?


Could you play a bit with colour scheme of Titan and golems?


While I asked mostly some colour changes, you are free to do some other alterations to fit your own taste, as well. Sorry, if it is too much to ask.

I will see what I can do about those. Academy isn't a priority, since it looks fine as it is for now, but we may change some textures when we finish with the other towns. About ghosts, yeah, I agree that they need some new modification and we also got wraiths now and we need to make them more distinct.

Also, should I change the "Emerald" Dragon texture? Or is my current scheme good enough? I was thinking about working a bit more on the texture, but still not sure. And I also need to change their size, I forgot about that, it's stupid that the deers are bigger than a ****ing dragon

I could come up with tons of ideas for unit modding... It may be a long list, but i could give it a try...

So...
Stronghold
1. Turning Brutes into a zombie wasn't a bad idea, but i'd rather they kept looking like an orc instead of a human, because well, Necropolis uses everything it can find, so it would make sense to have an undead unit from every faction and i guess Orc zombies would be much better than human ones

2. Why not change the color scheme of the Harpy a bit? Make it darker and the wings to look more like bat wings and return them to Dungeon once more? I can search up for names in the greek mythology although Erynies do come in mind and Moras as well... Just keep it in mind.

3. Is there any way to return the goblins somehow? Preferably the ones with the put trap ability... It could be nice to have an alternative to Harpy.

4. Possible other units: Smaller Simurgh with changed color scheme and head as Thunderbird, Blade dancers made to look like human berserkers from Heroes IV, dunno if a unit can be turned to Ogre Magi but Dreamcatchers could make a return.

Haven
1. Cavaliers be made Champion tier with increased stats or Gold dragon taking the place of Swordmaster.

2. Swaordmasters reduced to strong elite place alongside Cavalier or Blazing Glories

3. Can't think or much else... Maybe the sisters and the Ballista could be made as units to reflect a bit the Heroes IV theme? Or the sea elf pirate be made to look like the squire?

Sylvan
1. A reskin of wolf, smaller and more real like to be alternative to Dryads

2. A wild Griffin to be alternative to Hunters (and please no weird and funny looking armor)

3. Maybe unicorn in place of Blade dancers or blade dancers be put as alternative strong core?

4. Treant as an alternative strong elite and Phoenix in its place?

5. What others said about the Dragon

Necropolis
1. Lamasu getting new painting done, showing more bones and decay somehow, more yellowish-brown on the non upgraded version with black and bluish spots where there is less flesh, like a wound and more Greyish-white on the upgrade to show the dead skin.

Can one even modify the town model? I remember the Academy model (when seen from the map) looked something made by Lego cubes. At least to be given a bit more detail, so it is not that plain or simple.

lol great work guys, I hope one day there is a mod with new 3D models designed in the same classic mythology style of Heroes 2 and 3, without any trace left of the Erwin universe, that if there was a Quantomas level AI would maybe make the game worth a (heavily, heavily discounted) buy for me lol

did anyone test adding a completely new model and animation to the game is that possible lol

If we're putting Griffins in dungeon maybe centaurs could be moved to their core tier? Would be nice if they could be shrinked down to one tile, I never understood why they're large units.

But I'd like to see a dragon golem in adademy as their strong elite

I don't recall there was any Heroes game in which centaurs were not large creatures. In a sense that they never occupied one space, but two (or four, if talking about squares). Well, maybe only Heroes Online, I suppose...

Totally agree with you mate, then going from scratch is much more work than altering already animated existing models and I am not sure I will get the motivation. If in the future h7 gets better then maybe, but no false promises.

that's true mate it's a tough sell in terms of time, perhaps the WoG and Beyond scene could be very generous to give a hand, I think the VCMI very talented artist guy Nephrates was remaking old Heroes 3 models such as the elf lol



that would be insanely cool to see Heroes 3 3D of a sorts lol

Absolutely, then will he want to work for h7 is the question I guess.

It is true that if all visuals are getting redone and the gameplay attains fairly decent state at some point it could be worth it.

Wonder if creating h3 fortress would be possible

Got that rhino thing for a mighty gorgon, could take the goblin off the basilisk rider, and the rest will be in the game except the dragon fly.

+1 for dragon golem, loved them in h4, also h3 fortress would be great as green_drag mentioned in the other post.

i have a question: why are the zombies and mummies so overly muscular? are they on steroids or something? i don't remember ever seeing diesel zombies OR mummies before. anne frankly, they'd be more accurate as creatures if they lost some of their mass.
