+ 1 extra creature per faction
+ 2 second upgrades per faction
+ heroes movement increased
+ morale and luck cap increased
+ offense modifies directly creatures damage, also it works on percentage
+ defense modifies directly creatures physical resistance, also it works on percentage
+ logistics skill works via percentage now
+ offense and defense have new GM perks
+ warcries are reworked
+ a lot of creature stats/abilities have been modified (mainly speed)
+ changed the buildings costs so they aren't that cheap anymore
+ new heroes with more h3 and h5 inspired abilities (skill/creature specialists, gaining mana when killing stacks, chance based abilities that creatures may trigger when attacking, enhanced defend and wait commands), also more duel heroes+armies
+ new spells (shield, animate dead, death ripple, anti-magic, more summons and perhaps I will add more)
+ new creatures + map dwellings

Things that may or may not make it:
+ new town(s)
+ larger battlefields (still working on that)
+ alchemy skill
+ reworked magic schools
+ new creature banks
+ new artifacts

Thank you for the reply. I will test that mod but, is it too much work to separate the whole creature thing? One mod with all the gameplay changes and one mod with the new creatures, stats, abilities and heroes that specialize in the new creatures.
I'm actually askong,I don't know if it's possible or a drag to be done.

It could be done, but there are a lot of dependencies and references that need to be changed, so there's some work to do. Believe me, I don't love h7 that much to work full time on it, I already did more than I should have for a game I don't even play

That s why i said exclude completely the new heroes since some of them have to do with the new creatures. Less work right?
Just a mod with all the game play fixes and a mod for oldverse(heroes creatures alternate updates etc)
As for the balancing of the ashan units regarding speed etc it s smtg i could get into.

More models from other games means lesser Ashanian models 22 new creatures freshly extracted from Witcher 2.

I really like the mod, but don't get too hung up on the feature creep.

Doing releases is better than infinitely modifying . Too many mods go to nothing because there's always something "extra to update" and end up being never released. Don't worry, this isn't a commercial game that fails if it's incomplete. Unlike Ubisoft, releasing incomplete is not a crime, it's a service

Don't worry this is going to be released, but as Lizard just said we don't own the xpac so until we put our hands on it is on hold.

Thanks for the appreciation!

It's not my fault that h7 requires infinitely modifying

Well, I get the perfectionist approach (and I also hate everything Ashan lol), but sometimes you just have to make an intermediate release. It lets people playtest, smooth things out, report possible bugs (you yourself said you almost don't play it), etc.

It also keeps interest in the mod alive as people get to live the hype and not just watch from outside the gates. You can always do more updates and releases later.

You also never know when life or a hard drive crash will interrupt your work and it would be a shame if all went to waste just because no intermediate release.

As ideas for the "Infinitely modifying"... I think probably ypu will not actually do it as a full faction (too much work for a joke) but some of the Meme Faction could actually be included (probably all of them except for the giant head... and remove trump hair from the premises!) as neutral creatures with fast stats and existing abilities. I mean you already have the models/skins, that was the hard part, rest is just creating/copypasting some text and tweaking.

In any case, go forward and keep up the good work

I planned to do an intermediate release 2 months ago, but I got caught up with real life and couldn't release it before the expansion. Now I think there's no reason to make it for the vanilla game and there's no way I will pay 30 bucks for the expac, so I gotta wait.

I'm glad that people actually like it, as I don't even play h7, also you are right about testing, especially since I changed a lot of things.

Make sure you sort out any copyright issues before porting content from other games and including it in the mod.

Then wog modders would have been sued over a hundred times.

Besides I found the software allowing to extract and convert into OBJ directly on CDPROJEKTRED forums so I really doubt there would be any problems, but I appreciate the concern.

If we were making profit with the mod and selling it, then it would be another case.

CDProjektRed is usually fine with people using their models, I remember relying on them while I was trying to overhaul Skyrim.

And indeed, I haven't seen mods pulled down because they contained their assets.

CDProjektRed are great guys. If I'm not mistaken they were the ones that established GOG.com as well. I'm sure that they would be fine with using their models, but it wouldn't hurt to send them a request just to make sure. It can still be copyright infringement even if you don't make any money on the product.

Relax, mate, no one is going to sue us over some sh1tty mod for h7, well established companies won't go around throwing lawsuits against some dudes that don't make a profit off their work. They are a waste of time for them and it makes them look bad in the press, we acknowledge that those are their models, we don't make a profit off them and if they will contact us asking to remove them we will do so. But let's not exaggerate, most mods are in a gray legal area and are tolerated by most, plus I really doubt the legal owners of those models will ever stumble upon this mod.
