Russia is not based on discipline. This is a combination of anarchy and tyranny. There is no nationalism only for imperialism. Everyone can join Russia because there is no nation. Tzars were Germans. Stalin and Beria were Georgians. Khrushchev and Brezniew from Ukraine. Gorbachev was the first Russian for a long time at the head of the empire! This is a nomadic empire in Mongolian style.

USSR was not a nation-state. And neither were the traditional empires. They dont prioritize nationality in the ethnical sense. That is not a bad thing, btw.

Russia was too no national. Its bad because imperialism means war. Thaey always want more territories. Russia always is 'too small'. Best solutian is Russia national state around Moscow and decolonisation rest like Syberia Kazak states etc. Ethnic Russia is green 1462. True Russia. Rest is grabbing. Similiar to Roma expansion.

Now Russia is once again helping countries that want it to free themselves from colonial oppression.

The more you see from me unpleasant but true things that you cannot answer, the more often you say "bot". However, historical retribution for the crimes of the West (starting from the era of great geographical discoveries) is inevitable.
