You know what'd be great. An alternate background skin. The bright white of HC hurts my eyes. The dark options available at the RT are super nice. Thoughts?

In both FF and Explorer you can change the colors of the background, the text, and links. (In FF it's Tools>Options>Content>Fonts&Colors) I find dark red/purple the best for background. I stopped doing that for some reason but I can't remember why.

I'll try it.
Another thing: when you quote someone, it'd be nice if the board software indicated automatically who was being quoted. Of course, people can do it manually, but most people don't take the time, and it's often confusing to figure out who is being quoted. Just a thought.

I think I may have suggested that one in the past (the quoting thing). It sure would be a good feature though.

The way that the "Who's Online" function sorts online users is strange. It appears to rank them by how long each person has been doing what he's been doing, with shorter times ranked first. As a result you have to scroll through a lot of anonymous guests. I'm kind of curious why it was set up that way.
The function would be more useful if it ranked signed-in users alphabetically by their name, and lumped all the guest users at the end.

The function is nearly useless since you can view the same information about members on the left of HC Messenger screen.

hey thanks for keeping these sites alive.
I would like to sponsor an idea or too but it will be quite some time before I can mainly for credit card lackage..
ok then.. I guess I can say what would be kind of nifty is, in the profile page where you see Stats - Threads - Posts - Bonuses
It would be pretty cool if there could be either a date when posted so we could page back accordingly, or something like that. Here is an example.

I would like to suggest two things, supposing they are possible:
1-) Being able to make links to other parts of the text of the same post (we can't do that now right?);
2-) Make more font colours and smiles available when posting.
Thanks for your attention .

A forum/thread where the CoC doesn't apply that you have to sign a waiver to join. Which would allow some of us to vent. Yeah, I am dreaming

An "adult" subforum with no or few rules has been discussed in the past. It had some support, but some people (like me) were against it. I think Pan was the one who was pushing the idea. And she still wants it. I think it would not only split the community, it would turn into a living hell. I don't remember Val ever commenting on it, but I don't think he would go for it.

No, not neccessarily 'adult'...but a 'waiver' (ie you sign up, you agree you are on your own ). Have to register seperately for it, etc. However, your probably right, Val would never agree. I can dream tho dang it.

By "adult" I don't mean porn or anything like that, I just meant basically the same thing as you, except only adults could use it.

I don't really understand the desire for a place where people can go and cuss all they want to and otherwise be able to act as uncivilized as they wish, with no code of conduct at all. And in any case, why label it "Adults Only?" Funny: it seems to me that "Children Only" would be a more appropriate description.

Itīs the apple tree theory Corribus...
Some posts have a lot of useful info but gathered all around, perhaps a way to synthesize these, like attached documents to every heroes strategy post so as to summarize data and keep it in a more organized way. As fo H.C. itīs good as it is..i would change the curtains though..they are kind of dusty...
EDIT: some of those posts also have mixed version info, things like these should be divided.

There is a Table of Contents and List of QPs for each subforum, but I agree a Hall of Fame on AoH would be great, if that's what you meant.

The main problem with "Adult forum" is simple: you can't verify who is an adult and who is not - any kid can set birth date to 1960.
