Well, I’m at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, in Omaha Nebraska obviously. And I’m majoring in history and education. When I started last year my major was political science, not much of a surprise I’m sure, with plans for law school. I realized that politics was just making me angry and frustrated (same reason I left HC) so I changed my major. I think I’ll have a lot more fun being a history teacher than a lawyer and politician later on. I never joined any political groups on campus because most of these people have no real idea what they’re talking about and politics just makes me frustrated now, since most people I tend to deal with only spout off something they heard from the Daily Show or some other garbage and don’t really know what’s going on.
I don’t even have time to do anything with any groups on campus. With school, work and now a girlfriend, there’s just no time for that. Working almost fulltime, it gets pretty crazy some weeks, like this one right now Leading up to finals and all.
You still didn’t tell me who was talking about me.

Well . . .
I was the one talking about you. And it looks like you've changed and grown so much since you were last here. I assume you still have strong reservations about military cutbacks because of your parents. I was talking about how disturbed I felt by your link to nazi comedy with sesame street characters or something. It was confusing for me. I was apologizing to The_Gootch for coming down so hard on him while consistently trying to support your enthusiasm. You left me with many questions and little answers. But it seems now you are much different and looking to be grounded in your approach to being successful in life.
I would like to hear more about your life if and when you have the time. I understand you are a very busy college student. We have lost many members for that very reason. Asmodean, RedSoxfan3, and Cat come to my mind for the same reason.

Hey now, Sesame Strasse was funny stuff, that won't change. It's not around anymore, but it is still funny to me and the other few who were around in the clan when I made it. We're a lot bigger now with an American theme, lettle more appropriate, don't you think?
Glad to see you think a little higher of me now. Not sure how you came to such a conclusion after only 3 or 4 posts though.
I might stick around for a little bit, at least until I get mad at everyone again, then I'm gone again.

Bush is sending over 20 thousand troops to iraq which he has done before & failed.
Mistakes that happens & he always takes the blame but for what?
His new plans to help the Iraqi Govt is just going to make it worst.
Too many mistakes are tainting the Iraqi people to hate us more.
There are terrost everywhere.
Bush once peace in the whole middle east.
Hes just causing a war that will soon to come.
Over 20 thousand troops on the ideas previously that failed.
What is he trying to accomplish.To help with the country almost in Anarchy.
COme on It will be the same without the troops.
Bush says to leave Iraq now would ruin iraq & thier govt.
How would he know, is he some mind reader.
The Iraqis always had a problem with terriorism & thier nieghbor country.
Were never coming home!
Maybe we can have 60 states now because we basically are pampering the Iraqi Govt & thier people with demands.
Could be more yrs then we think before our troops comes home.
The plan will take more yrs then when this war started.
Estimating over 5 yrs.

Our choice as voters or not, it does not give him the right to continue down a failing path. They have proven they don’t want democracy so stop shoving the pacifier into the baby’s mouth that doesn’t desire it. Eventually the baby will find a way to calm itself.

while i agree with the actual point of your post, two notes:
first of all, usa invaded iraq against all international law and the will of the majority of the civilized world, hardly democracy at all
second, democracy is the last thing the usa display in iraq... i doubt you would want democracy if all you knew of it was a foreign nation invading your country

I shall not try to defend Bush' decision, I have no way to estimate what should be done in Iraq, but I think you should read his interview in 60 Minutes (here) . After all it's only fair that he gets to explain his decision.

It's getting worse and we have been blocked in the senate. Our attempt to stop the increase in troop numbers has been stopped cold.
