Chelsea won, bleh
I'm giving this completely to Drogba, simply amazing.
Chez played awesome penalties too.
Would not have put Ovic on the spot though. Never saw him as someone to score that shot.
And Robben the first time, wtf, Chez has been training with for years, stupid choice.

Let's see...
Incredible header by Drogba, no one can deny that. Munich's goal was nice too, if not as pretty. If only they could have scored that penalty that Drogba gave them...
In the shootouts, I think Munich just ran out of players to shoot with; all the hesitancy and making the goalie! go (he scores!!), but if only they had score the last shot... Off the post due to a last minute dive... Disappointing really...
Chelsea's shots were all excellent, very little one could do to block them, so kudos to them for that. All in all, it came down to the penalty in the second half and they just weren't able to score.

You know what's funny? If the commentator hadn't been so blatantly pro-Bayern, I would have rooted for them instead of Chelsea. It was a very good game, by the way.

So, anyone pumped for Euro 2012? I'm rooting for Spain, as always; too bad Villa will be gone; hope it won't turn out like the Champions League for Barca this year. One thing I know for sure, though, is that Denmark is screwed.
Their group:
Germany
Netherlands
Portugal
Denmark
Tough group; sucks to be Germany; their Spanish rivals have an easy ride, with Italy their only competitor. So who else is looking forward to this tournament?

Unfortunately Spain are missing Villa and Puyol; Xavi in poor health, Torres still recovering from his sucky season (Messi scores more goals in a game than Torres does in a season) but Spain is still going all the way!

Sucks to be Netherlands and Portugal I woudl rather say
And I think it is cool to have a strong group, so you get your rhythm pretty early.
Spain could be surprised if they won't win their first game vs Italy...
I think Germany is strong enough this time to get the title....

Was annoyed at Spain's tie, Torres screwed it up. Otherwise quite happy with the results!
My favorite was Denmark beating Netherlands () and Germany beating Portugal, even if it wasn't by a high score.
Also liked the Brazil vs. Argentina friendly; watch it if you haven't already.
Soon enough, no one will say Messi can't perform at an international level. Argentina 2014 World Cup!
EDIT: Predictions for tomorrow-Greece will beat the Czech Republic, I'd say around 2-0, and Portugal will either win 1-0, or tie 1-1 to Denmark.

my predictions for tonight are..
Russia will win Poland
Greece draw with Czech
p.s. Expect the referee to help Poland a lot (involving not fair penalties and red card to Russia)

Accidentally predicted after-tomorrow's match.
Russia will beat Poland, I think, and Greece will beat the Czechs.

Hi guys!
Haven't posted here for a while...
But I can't miss a chance to share with you atmosphere here, from inside of EURO 2012.
The championship only started, but its great out here, thousands of fans in the city, joyful mood, colorful streets, just awesome.
I will be tomorrow at Denmark - Portugal in my home city of Lviv. I've got tickets for Denmark - Germany on Saturday. I'm looking forward for these matches, even more after sensational Denmark win against Netherlands.
And for now I'd like to share a link to photos of the Fan Zone from the heart of Lviv. It was yesterday's Ukraine - Sweden. Awesome!

Wow! You're really lucky-that sounds like a blast! I wasn't expecting Denmark to perform well in this tournament, but they beat the Netherlands, so hey-who knows? If they can beat Portugal they'll probably get out of their group, so good luck to them. Tell us how the match goes!

Czech finally get a winning game, and it's by beating Greece! I might think of that time, Nedved,Koller,Smicer was smiling in front of TV.(If there is any Greek fans, please forgive my words.)
But I still worry about the advance of the Czech, as their last opponent is Poland, and also the bad condition of the Cech...

Wish I was in Lviv to join in on the revelry. Sounds like a lot of fun.
2nd lose for the Netherlands. Sucks to be them. Looking forward to the Croat vs Italy game tomorrow to see if Italy plays just as impressively as they did against the champs. Starting off against the best ranked team can be kind of a ***** mental-wise.

Croatia is a nice team. They have many great victories.

Of course it is. It always was. Germany is best team in the european history of football. I really think this. Italy, England, France, etc. are good teams but only Germany is constantly strong in every championship.
