Somehow the snakes are not in place in Sylvan. Sylvan must be somehow peaceful and etc. The snakes just fit more evil town. Inferno have the snake as symbol along with the pentagram.
In that case, join me in my crusade to make Sylvan's Fury win!
28% and counting! We can do it guys!!

So the only lineup with 2 fliers is a defensive one...lol stevie

Another great point in favour of Earth's Perfect Balance

Well, emeralds are green, elves love green and such...

Not at all. Snakes are no more evil and no more aggressive than any other animal, they attack only what's their food, run away from other creatures and bite only if they are threatened. And nature isn't strictly peaceful. It can be pretty harsh.

EDIT: 38%-36%-28%! Keep voting! Unicorns are now leading!
You got that so WRONG!
That's because what you think are SNAKES are actually SERPENTS.
Snakes are in all cultures a symbol for wisdom and healing - only the serpent is evil.
So Snakes are pretty cool, actually.
Unicorns are peaceful beings that can be tamed by a virgin and are not made for war. Give them their well-deserved rest already.

Flying is besides the point. The fact that you can fly does not tip the balance in favor of neither defense or offense. You can have flying tanks or flying cannons. The only thing that makes a creature a tank or a cannon is their STATS. So if you think that the creatures that find themselves in more than one line-up will have the exact same stats, you're just plain mistaken.
I changed my vote for balance for the time being. It pains me that Fury is pretty much out, now I just chose the lesser evil. I do however think that the line-ups are imbalanced and that needs fixing before any vote comes to a conclusion. The way things look now it's just a compromise that I feel won't satisfy not even the winners.

And you base that on what exactly? We know their descriptions are identical regardless in all line-ups, so assuming the stats will be as well makes more sense than the alternative.

You cannot balance a strategy on swapping creatures alone. You need to adjust the stats too. It's not far fetched to assume that the Emerald Dragon in the defensive line-up will be different than the one in the Offensive one.
Also, the treant and the emerald warrior are a good example in that regard. They have different abilities. And I don't think they'll stop just there. They'll have to adjust the stats accordingly.

Okay if those are what creatures will look like... Definitely not Fury and I never said anything about giving Ashan a chance.
Now Strenght looks appealing... Damn this vote I'm changing my mind ten times a day ! It could really help if we'd get to see official units artworks though
That is not official, it's how some Russian fans want them to be

please someone explain to me. why do you think a walking unit is defensive?
everybody demonized the walking dragon, making it the face of everything that is evil!! and please don't say "sieges". sanctuary fared well in sieges, and do not forget your machines.
a faction does not have to have a flying unit.
and who ever said stronghold will be without a flying creature?

Quote: This strategy is the one often used by the Sylvan army to defend their cities and sacred lands. It's based upon the magic protection offered by the Unicorns and a powerful synergy between the Dryads and the Treants to withstand enemy attacks. Hunters and Emerald Knights then take the fights to the enemy while Root Snakes, Druids and Green Dragons help them by controlling the flow of the battle, entangling and slowing enemy troops.
Quote: Green dragon/Emerald dragon: tough damage dealer with average move range and area of effect damage
It's not a Crystal Dragon from H3, which could cross battlefield in one turn and deal a massive amound of damage.

Usually a walking unit is more defensive than a flying unit.
In the case of treants there is no need to explain why xD

No, unit being defensive or offensive doesn't have to do much with being able to walk or fly, but with abilities, stats and whole faction as a whole and how it all plays out in the end.

And that's what the spell teleport is for. Actually they could even give them the ability to teleport.
