you mean with force field and the game lasting 5-6 hours, right?

I don't consider any creature strong that need magic. A strong creature is supposed to be fit in frontal battles and sieges even without magic. Ghost dragons are like devils weak but at least they are cheap both in terms of creature and dwelling.
Devils are good at taking on slow creatures by using hit and run tactic but on the other hand ranged creatures can already do the same job with mass slow (sometimes even without mass slow).
Who would prefer having 10 Archdevil in their army instead of having 10 Titan, Archangel or 10 Black Dragon?

You have no idea how to play, then.

No, that's why I use them in scouts. They are quite useful for tricky battles, not that good for massive force. But the same can be said about Black Dragons, they are amazing for hit and run dragageddon but way worst then Titans and Archangels for muscular battles.

Varying creature stats require varying tactics to make them shine - supported by Magic or otherwise. Salamandre is trying to explain to you how circumstance increases or decreases a creature's worth - and an expert player can influence circumstance and hence manipulate a creature's worth during a battle. You need to look at the strengths and weakness of each creature and find (creative?) ways to reduce the weaknesses of your own creatures while reinforcing their strenghts and at the same time do the reverse to that of the opposing creatures. This separates the casual player from the expert.

If heroes were allowed to carry only 1-2 stacks then Archdevils may be considered the best creature but in frontal battles or sieges they will be killed very easily by other creatures compared to other lvl 7 creatures due to lack of HP. Also Archdevils are more expensive than black dragons. I would still prefer having blacks in my army.

The guy just uploaded a video where it is proven your analysis is gobbledygook. Why don't you just test several "frontal" battles between 1000 devils and other 1000 th level then post here the results?

I quote the article, when some sent youtube, it showed harpy hag against nix. I haven't been found again. Ok then article lights you in Strongest Town & Weakest Town
Harpy Hag Hoodoo
Since they are fast and strike with no retaliation, Harpy Hags can be used to attack neutral stacks which are much more powerful than they are. To make this work, you need to be facing enemy troops with a speed of 4 or less, or use the Slow or Haste spells so that your Harpy Hags are moving more than twice as fast as the enemy (or some fortuitously-placed obstacles). You can then choose to wait, to make the enemy move first, swoop in and attack, then, when they get close, hustle to a new location and repeat (beware Morale bonuses by the enemy, however!). In a multiplayer game, this can take some time to do and hence is frowned upon, but early on in a SP game you can use it to clear mines/guardians you would otherwise not be able to, at least until your Dragons become available. This tactic can basically be done with any non-retaliatory creature (Cerberi, Arch Devils, Sprites, Vampire Lords), but the HH's are the only one to return to their original hex.

First you say that devils are the worst 7th tier, you are proven all is BS as they win 5 battles out of 7 vs other factions similar tiers, which puts them in rank 3, just after angels and behemoths. Now what's the point with those weird battles, what they are expected to prove? The armies aren't even set up correctly, they always move and never wait, this is not how Heroes is played.

I've watched ALL H3-related videos in that guy's channel (I think I'm actually subscribed to him) and - while his vids are entertaining - they don't prove anything, other than showing each town's army strength.
These being said, it's already known that Titans and Archangels are better than the AD, so not sure what you're trying to prove here cause I've already proven to you that the AD is better than the Black Dragon right after you've said that you would prefer to have 10 Black Dragons in your army instead of 10 Satans. Now, if that is your preference fine! Everyone should be OK with your tastes in Heroes 3, but if you're coming here stating loud and clear that all tier 7 creatures are better than the AD - even though I've proved the contrary - well, stop posting crap then cause... um... I don't know why you should stop posting crap, but I guess it's not good
Anyway, I like both Titans and ADs... and ABs and Chaos Hydras.... and Gold Dragons and Phoenixes.... and even Ghost Dragons.... I like all these creatures and I think they're all worthy. ADs are indeed a bit expensive for their worth, but they're still useful if you know how to play Inferno, which I doubt you do since you're crying so much about Inferno this, Inferno that, Inferno this and so on.

I just did the tests for the sake of, even if I hate this simplistic approach, and titans are totally wiped out by devils. Only angels and behemots win in frontal battle. Test with zero stats/skills/spells, no morale/luck, neutral terrain.

Nah, I believe you. And I'm surprised because I've heard more than once that an extra 50 HPs and higher damage weighs more than extra ATT / DEF, and stuff like that, but... no retaliation weighs too much probably, even against an extra 100 HPs that the Titan has, as well as the double damage
Anyway, the few battles I've played with Tower against Inferno I usually have defeated it, but it's true that I mostly play Neela when I play tower, so...

I never play random heroes cause I'm not good enough to win with crap heroes, and if I don't get a hero that I like I freak out and rage unplug the computer, so give me a break with all this random crap!
Also, Inferno is good, but not good enough to sit at #2 spot.

During the first time when I was beginner in Heroes 3 I liked to test frontal battles between 2-3 week growth armies of different fractions. However in real game battles with neutrals have meaning, and usually they are battles when you have only several level creatures, not all 7.
The higher skill of gamer the more effectively he can use high speed of creatures. Inferno have one of most speedy armies.
Rough rating of fractions by creatures speed:
1. Inferno
2. Dungeon
3. Castle
4-7. Rampart,Stronghold,Tower,Conflux
8. Necropolis
9. Fortress
P.S. I'd rather say "mobility", not "speed"
