I'm not a football specialist, far from it. But dude, I was ****ing JOKING ! I know who you were talking about.
As for the finale, it seems more than likely that it'll be France vs Germany. And it's going to be pretty tough for both teams. If it took place in a neutral country, I'd place my bet on France doubtless. Can't help but remember how much the fact "we" had the public on "our" side back in 1998 helped "us" winning the Cup back then. It'll be much tougher with the whole stadium supporting the opponent.

Quote: Another thing about Brazil. They dont have structure in defence. If you watch the replay of the free kick where Henry scored, it could have been stopped easily.
Brazil were man for man in the little pack outside the box. When the kick was taken all 5 French attackers ran in but only 2 Brazilian defenders went back with them. The other 3 stood on the line. Pure stupidity.
So true!!! They have NO STRATEGY whatsoever. Even though Brazil's team has the best players, their playstyle is the same as kids' playing on the streets (well, it makes perfect sense - this is where all of them came from ).

How did you have this conclusion? You just suppose that is true, but you know absolutely NOTHING about Brazil. You're completely wrong? No. But still wrong. (For example, search for Kaka's biography... probably there's one somewhere)
Next time you make such statement make sure you're know about what you're saying.
The team (not the players) was horrible. Parreira was being called stupid (actually it was not that, but something else that is censured here) by the Brazilians that were at the stadium. About 99 of each 100 Brazilians are really mad with him. Why was Cafu (Ronaldo, Adriano...) playing? They were terrible. Ronaldo was clearly overweigthed. Why not Robinho, Cicinho and Juninho? The team was much better when them played. There's just to many thing to complain about another lot of things. I won't take my (and your) time writing(reading) here. Just to finish: Parreira is the most stubborn that Brazil has ever seen... by far.

Next time you want to talk s**t to someone,
1) Make sure to read wtf you are replying to. You write 2 paragraps about how wrong and clueless I am and then you repeat the same thing I said in your own words.
2) Drop the attitude even if you succeed in doing step #1 and even if you think you are 100% correct.

Sorry if I wasn't clear enough:
This:
Quote: How did you have this conclusion? You just suppose that is true, but you know absolutely NOTHING about Brazil. You're completely wrong? No. But still wrong. (For example, search for Kaka's biography... probably there's one somewhere)
Was especifically for this :
Quote: (well, it makes perfect sense - this is where all of them came from )
In my view there was some prejudice in your words.

The rest of the text, was just an "extra"... not related to your post. Just my point of view in how bad the team was.
Here's a link to show how Roberto Carlos was caring for the game:

The text is in portuguese, but it actually doesn't matter, the pictures make it very clear.

Yep, the TEAM was bad. And as for the streets - it was not meant as an offense in any way. All the great players start by playing on the streets. I just said it to illustrate the lack of strategy and teamwork in Brazil's team.

I think Portugal just took the lead away from the Italians in the number of dives during the game. I think they dived on average once every 3 mins in the second half.

Thanks dude, I wasn't 100% sure it was also called diving in english before your post !
Yeah, so the right way to put it is : Ronnie James Dio must have had a vision of the future, 23 years ago... In retrospect, the only person his epic song <<Holy Diver>> could possibly be about is Cristiano Ronaldo indeed !

Is it just me, or was this semifinal yesterday a boring match to watch?
Gold medal for extremely deep diving without any water near, goes to.....PORTUGAL!....
Gold medal for perfect italian catenaccio without having any italian player in the team goes to....FRANCE!....
With that style, France won´t have a chance vs Italy imho....and neither Portugal vs Germany...

Well it wasnt exactly a very exciting match, but I thnik that the french deserved their win. Portugal was helpless... Figo and Deco were nowhere tob be seen. France beat them tacticaly without too much effort.
They still are my favourites for the title... Germany third

oh well i was half right.. i new italy would walk into the final.. but im a bit disappointed about Portugal, and even though cristiano ronaldo has a tendancy to fall in pain with every tackle, he always takes on the man and is exciting to watch..
my prediction for the final.. italy will win comfortably 1-0.. The French have been playing pretty good, but im convinced we are goin to see habits of old which last surfaced in their first 2 games against switzerland and south korea..

Well sure, he played great in every game in the world cup series.
I think it's pretty wimpy for the Italians to stoop that low to talk smack & make it so personal that they knew it would make Zidane furious.
Is that the only way they can win is to make some personal remarks.
Congrats to the italians but I dont respect them & I hope they really investigate what was really said.

im my opinion zidane just obliterated his career in my eyes. Who will he be remembered for? the great player who had an amazing career, or the player who got angry at words the crowd yells every game, nd viciously headbutted an unsuspecting materazzi, and most likely cost france any chance they had at the world cup. Please hes a joke, hes a professional who on his glorious exist showed his true colours.
On another note, im proud of italy and the effort they have put into this world cup, they clearly deserve to be tagged as the World Champions. Special mention to grosso, who played incredibly well, and has just signed up for inter
Finally, i just wanted to say this, how could materazzi get penalised for a penalty? that was a shocking decision, which could hav cost italy the WC. In the end it only cost me $50 lol..

LM, in many instances a great career can be forgotten due to a red card. But it wasnt just any red card, but one that many would argue lost them the world cup.
Pecu dont talk like a fool. Seems no matter what the Italians do people find a way to make us look like cheats. We came back from a contreversial penalty to win the game, it was completely deserved.
As for Materazzi being the catalyst for Zidanes actions, so what. That is no excuse to act like that. Show some maturity and take it up with the ref after the game. Its not the first time Zidane has used his bald head like that anyway, so he desered exactly what he got.

That's right, DS : what he got, and nothing more. So cut the crap about forgetting all the wonders he's made on top of the red card (and the loss of the cup) please !
And btw... You said "us" ? How many Italians in HC are pretending to be aussies on their profile ?!
ADDIT : Words of wisdom as usual, Angel ! You made me take off my french glasses (with good reason), and it's only fair you asked them to take off their italian glasses as well !
