WCL: We want to fight you!
I represent here Heroes Online Training Center as known as Heroes.by.
We challenge players from World Cup League and suggest battle of two groups (5 players from every side). Each player can challenge any player from opposite group. After game 1 vs 1 - looser is gone. When all players in group are lost - tournament is over.
We are ready to play on your current templates and use your rules, even if we never play by these rules before. We are here to fight! Who of you will accept our challenge?

hi Balamut 
can you already name few heroes.by players that are ready to play?
would be nice to know more about these players - e.g. approximate number of games played during last 4 years, which game version do they play most often - SOD or TE, which templates are most common for them, which map sizes are most common.
how long do you expect this sub-tournament will last?
i will publish announcement on WCL as well

Approximate number of games per year: 50-100
Game version: TE
Templates: 2sm4d 8mm6
Map sizes: L+U & XL+U
Difficulty: 160% & 200%

I like the way u start this thread , very appealing he he, anyway it looks very interesting and i think will be a good experience exchange and of gameplays. Im more than willing to participate in this tournement. Hope to face u all too.

One player replied. That's good.But you need four other men to make a group.
Are there guys who are ready to fight unknown foe? We don't ask lot - just one or two games. That wouldn't hurt

Balamut, unfortunately no one is around to reply at the moment, give it a evening, and there will be alot of responses, and more competition can only be better. It would be nice to play each of the players atleast once in my veiw, that would be great infact. Hopefully u and sag will organise it and it will very well be underway soon.

I think that in my phrase wasn't any unrespect. Maretti said in other branch of this forum: Quote:

hot guys a bit arrogant, though i hope it will not prevent from conducting this quick minitourney. I know for sure few things:
1) Paladin, DC_Vasya, Stinger, AlexTheGreat, CmapuK, Samurai, Bayazet, Balamut are really strong players, very respected in Russia/CIS region
2) These players always play honorably and they always strictly stick to all player-made rules
3) These players made great contribution into HoMM3 development
4) Games will be fun and useful. I will be very interested in saves after the game
Bottom line: let's stop argueing and let's play

So any idea how this is gonna be structured, as i said before will be very nice to play all players and then proceed on or, we can play best of three in the open challenges, tat way decisions can be more decisive. Yo anders what happened to the long break  , can i expect u back on gspy now?, remember ive got 3 weeks off .
And for the record ive never played anyone better than maretti, so if there is someone, then it will be my plesure.

We are ready to play by your rules. But we insist on our competition format. Two groups, 1 vs 1 games. Five looses in a group means end of competition. Each player is free to challenge every "alive" player in opposite group. If he lost a game he is out from competition. This manner we'll have maximum nine games. This will be quick and hard tournament.

We are organized, we have leaders and representatives. We challenged WCL, not group of individuals. You have to form your group without our approval. May be you lack organization at this moment?
Until you solve your organization problems we will think of Devangel as your captain.

I guess patience is not such a virtue for your group balamut. I do generally play on weekends only and sounds like you will want to have the tournament done by the end of the day lol. I must admit I do like the boldness and it’s always great to find good competition. If you guys need a player put me in.

May be i look impatient, but according to my experience in providing such tournaments: earlier we start - more chances we start it at all
It will be perfect to start it on this weekend and quite good if we start 20-21 july, but not later. If you 'll haven't command to next weekend we'll be thinking you want to talk more than to play.
We have game version Heroes 3 Complete Edition. It's localized, but i think it doesn't matter. Cause not all our players have direct IP it would be better to play with Hamachi assistance. We make there subnet and send password to your leader.
