Guess what this russian team doesn't consider is the fact, WCL is not some kind of group living next to each other. There are players from all over the world. They have different time zones, different time limits and maybe wear different uniforms during their Homm3 games ().

I guess u put that too much into a military thing balamut.

On our site we have players from London to Vladivostok. That means 12 time zones. Average age of our players is about 25 years. Most of them work and have family. But that doesn't prevent us from being well organized and united community.

As for me, every game that i play, except participating in tournaments, is for fun. But tournament games are not for fun. If you don't take seriously to tournaments, that is good you are out from that.

Else one time what we expect from this topic:

1) Five names of your players announced by a man responcible for their participating.
2) List of your rules for Jebus template. Rules must be explained in details.

These five players are not necessarily to play this weekend. They just must have ability to play 1-2 games during 2-3 nearest weeks.
I think ten days (till next sunday) should be enough to find five players in century of digital communications.

Our players are:

i will try to coordinate WCL team
currently in team are Maretti (100%), Devangel (100%), XSI (?), Jammer (?). I have invited some more high-ranked players, waiting for their response...

important thing is to agree about rules in details.
I would suggest following set for Jebus:
- no DD/Fly
- no scrolls lev4-5
- no diplo/joiners
- no flux
- no carto/hillfort
- no upgrade cons/hives
- must FMG
- dwell limits: max 1 level 7, max 1 level 6; if no level 7 flagged - then 2 level 6 are allowed
- no Red rush
- no Hit & run
- Draw condition : If battle ends in a draw - then attacking player must flee (even if attacking player has better army). Example: attacking player has horde of Golems and can't kill 1 Ghost dragon which flies away)
- restarts:
1) Players must restart game if starting hero is not level 1
2) some block conditions?
3) Dirt road?
- no usage of game bugs as: "reducing neutral guards", "hero view", "selling arts above the price"

Necro and Log born i would suggest to allow.

some rules e.g. h'n'r need further clarification, however this is first draft.

Dev, Anders do you agree? anything to add/remove?

Dirt roads usualy mean misplaced gaurds and screwed up terrain so i suggest restart in tat scenario, and heavily blocked gaurds in front of town will also be a restart i think. Log borns ok but not sure about necro. I think better not have it, but its only my veiw.Everything else looks fine to me.

Imo diploheroes are allowed, you are just not allowed to accept any creatures joining.

correct, you cant pick flux as starting town. Its not possible to find flux or necro towns on jebus. (on a sitenote flux isnt very good on jebus)

Only 1. If you have them in the same stack you can claim that the ones you lost were from the cons though.

First senario: yes, its rr. Second senario: no its not rr.

About the jebus template: Do you guys know this template? Its very rich and has a pretty high luckfactor, so you might not find it ideal. Im ok with it though.

@Sag and Devmania: I dont think necro should be allowed either. I dont like dwell limits but I can accept limits on lvl 7 dwells. Limits on lvl 6 dwells dont make sense imo. I believe we will get the best games on xl maps. The question is, should we pick town or play random or maybe use a system where each player exclude 1, 2 or 3 towns that the opponent is not allowed to pick? If we pick, all games will be castle vs castle, on random the luckfactor might be to high. Time limit: at least 6 min. Btw who should create the maps?

So player had to remember exact number of his troops to calculate damage done to his army. And what if he said there were 102 pikiners in your stack and i can surrender and his opponent said there were 105. Win or loose freuently depends on minor factors

There is artefact, that forbids fleeing or surrending. And in SAG draw condition atacking player must flee or surrender. But what if he or his opponent have this artefact?

Just with one standing - there should be one set of rules from your side. As I see there are three templates on which your players play majority of games.  Jebus, Balance and Panic. We don't mind play all three templates, but your rules should not vary depending on template.

I don't like this definition, too many questions may arise. I understand it was made to avoid "hit&die" of prison heroes when secondary hero with spell power 10+ casts few times high-level offensive spells or Berserk...Maretti, can you please re-phrase it in some more simple and more clear way?

Actually "draw battles" are very rare, especially if both players know about this rule. Regarding "shackles present during draw battle" - it's a VERY VERY rare situation. However, i agree that all possible situations must be clear. In "shackles present during draw battle" condition - normally players should load from autosave, put off shackles and repeat battle, but it's too long (especially if defending hero wear shackles), so i suggest that in "shackles present during draw battle" situation - hero with less HP must die. Maretti, Dev - do you agree?

Ok, necro is not allowed for selection or for build up from neutral town. Also, all skeletons that were raised from necromancy skill - must be dismissed immediately after the battle. If time limits didn't allow to dismiss them in current turn - then must dismiss at the beginning of next turn (anyway, before start of next battle).

I suggest to use system of turn-by-turn town exclusions. When there will be 3 towns - player select from 3 variants, opponent - selects color and town from 2 other towns. So, i suggest "no same towns". Do you agree? I don't like Castle vs Castle wars - played too often

Dev, Maretti , can you please make more clear rule? Actually "heroes.by" use more simple system - they can ask for 1 restart during 1 first turn and 1 restart during first 3 turns (excluding non-level1 hero). With reason or without reason. Such system is clear, simple, makes more balance. When you see no dwells or no topes - you may ask for restart, but keep in mind that next time there may be strong guards blocking you completely and you will not be allowed for just one more restart...Regarding Dirt road, should be same exception as non-level1, easy to restart at the very beginning.

We are here to try playing by your rules, not ours. But if you think our system of race/color selection is better - than we play it.

I think Xarfax should play. He is part of the international heroes community.

About blocks and restarts. I dont like this right to demand a restart. Common sense is normally enough between fair players.

...mmh ..not a too bad idea. I will make autosaves for each day and write down my strategy thoughts during the opponents turn, plus why I did win or loose (maybe even some endfight pictures, if the combat is close).


@Balamut: Is your 2SM-Template edited? I really like the "original" Blockbuster Template which was originated by the player Midnight from the 2SM-Template. Unfortunately Blockbuster was edited by him a second time and this version is boring. I wish i could find the old Blockbuster. Do you have the 2SM to download somewhere?
