Why do you thin Satyrs are stupid?
They are just demon/night elf hybrids, it doesnt make them stupdier.
They join anyone with great power and who offers them rewards.
And if they are forced to join somebody, they will do it.

I admit they are hybrids but they have one line for .... 's sake AND im talking about the basic satyrs from warcraft 3 who have one line.Zenn Foulhoof however is truly an example for a intelligent satyr good work

I have not played trougth heroes 5(TotE) yet, but Menolag is a mortal, no?
I guess he is in his 40-50 is TotE, and he do got white hair in DM....
The gap of H5 and Dark Messiah are too small for a entire freaking game anyway thinking logically. Soo its like no time to get in the storyline to make a direct sequal......
Besides H5 past is WAY TOO MUCH OF A CLICHE!!!!!!! We got like 90% chance for Sareth unding up ruining the world either way, soo who cares?
I vote for finding a way to merge the H5 with the H1-4 story using dimensional rifts(whom are a pain to create? Meaning start campaign is a alliance to get away from the Cristian Demons).
I kind of miss the Krekans or what they are called

I want Homm to be between Dark Messiah and Heroes V, with events like Kha-Beleth wraping Isabel, who dies in childbirth and Agrael (as a Ranger) falling in love with her.
Freyda will be Sareths mentor untill he was kidnapped by the wizard "Ikeepforgettinghisname"
And Homm 7 will be after Dark Messiah

Erm, Lexxan, Agrael was already in love with Isabel at the beginning of Heroes V. He watched over her throughout her life, and cared a great deal for her.
I think it should go back in time. At least to the time of Mal-Beleth's reign. Maybe the chance to make all units more pure, and racially disrupted by the current event's (Queen Isabel's War, the coming of the Dark Messiah, the Rule of the False Queen).
I prefer it to be something new, and have a greater, more advanced game recapture the present time, starting with the Dark Messiah.

For the love of Krohn, I say less of the Demons-as-core-antagonists please. Heroes III AB started the trend and Heroes V was full of them. We didn't even get a real Demon campaign in this game. It'd be nice if one could control them from time to time, or even form alliances with them instead of just constantly, constantly fighting them...

Voted new world because of doomed hope of returning to Axeoth. And I must say I was glad to see that 'new world' is leading the field BIG TIME - I know lots actually want a WHOLE new world, but it at least shows I'm not alone in thinking the new world of HoMM V is unsuited for the game we love.
There should have been a 'return to Axeoth'-option, anyway. Not because there's ANY CHANCE for it happening - but simply to be able to see HOW MANY of us actually feel that way and how many actually want a whole third universe.
EDIT: would the starter of this thread or any other be insulted if I proposed a re-starting of the poll with the option "a return to the storyline of the old Heroes games - aka currently Axeoth" added? Cos' having read the entire thread, I think it would be interesting to sort out just how many want a whole new, 3rd world, and how many wanna go back to Axeoth - as it is, people who don't want Axeoth at all, will be seen as doing so, just because they want a new world - and people who want Axeoth are ending up voting for what might be a third world
This is not to criticize the creator of the thread - had I started it, I prolly would have never thought of people wanting to vote for Axeoth - and I'm even one of the most extreme of the kind
Plz do not be offended by this  I am tempted to start a new thread this instant, but I'm not doing it, cos' I have no reason whatsoever to dislike or offend the creator of this thread, I'm just immensely curious how many people actually miss Axeoth ENOUGH to hope for a return to the place

I prefer that idea that there is another world over a pre Heroes 5 or post Dark Messiah.
Creating a NEW world would allow concepts that have been discussed in this and may other forums to become a realization.

I don't think connecting Axeoth/Colony/Whatever and Ashan should happen now, Nival can spin onto Ashan for some time first. Personally, I would like a prequel of H5, The part where Alexei, Cyruz and Alaron fights the Sovereign. I think I saw someone mentioning it and that it would bring more depth to the Ashan universe.

I think the storyline should be like this (HoMM7 should be in the past).
This is the campaign order (it will get updated):

INTRODUCTION
2 years has past since Sareth released Kha'beleth. The explosion caused by the summoning of the great Sovereign and the combination of Sareths and his power destroyed much of the eastern side of the Continent.
The Humans, Wood Elves and Wizards became one force and was trying to fight the enormous demon legions that now have free entrace to the surface world.
The Necromancers have been shattered in diffrent groups for a while now and it is said that they are making a pact with the demons.
There are no signs of the Dark Elves and there faith remains unknown.
The Dwarves were overrun by demons and are isolating themself inside underground chambers - digging out ancient and forgotten tunnels to escape in.
The Orcs stand proud at their borders trying to defend themself. But pride has consumed them and their race is doomed already.
The Demons themself now have free entrace to the surface world and are begining their massive campaign to release Urgash and have venegeance on Ashan.

Human Campaign Story.
The Unicorn Empire and the Free Cities had become one single nation. They were led by Freyda and Duncan and they have a son together.
After the huge explosion that burned the continent the Free Cities were seperated from the large Unicorn Empire.
The humans had made an alliance with the Wizards of the Silver Cities and the Wood Elves of Irollan to defeat the large demon force and find away to lock them inside Sheogh again.
The humans have tried to send messengers to the Free Cities but all have died trying to cross the new demon territory.
But the human manage to distract the demon forces and send a messenger to the Free Cities.
Freyda and her son has fled to a secure place on some islands in the Ocean.
The Free Cities get the Unicorn Empires messege and the attack against the wast demon territory begins.
The plan is that the humans attack from the west, the free city humans from the east, the Wizards from the south and the Wood Elves from the north.
But the plan fails and all the three races forces are crushed.
The Wood Elves retreat to prepare Irollans defenses and Zehir dies in a duel with Sareth.
Her daugther Extrana is teleported away to the Silver Cities and in her depression she decides to move the Silver Cities to the far northern wastelands.
The humans decide that they cannot stay in their old lands and prepare their fleet to sail across the ocean to a new land.
After a massive effort to construct more ships the humans escape from the old continent and their mighty fleet crushes the demon fleet.
As for the Wood Elves their forests got burned and Findan was killed when he defended Irollan.
The Wood Elves too decided to flee across the ocean.
After a couple of battles with the Naga the humans reach a new continent that they call Eracion and start to construct a new kingdom.
The whole human campaign is basically a big tutorial and it ends with the humans destroying some Naga towns on the continent.

FACELESS
The campaign starts with the Demons finding the Faceless. They need the Faceless in order to summon Urgash.
The Demons offer the Faceless revenge against the Angels and the Dark Elves if they join them.
The Faceless decide to join and the extermination of the Dark Elves begin.
With the help of the massive legions of Demons the Faceless destroy the Dark Elven towns very quick.
With their twisted magic they start experiments to corrupt the Dark Elves and turn them into ''Broken, Twisted and Corrupted Ones''.
The Faceless also tries to get the Dragons back which they do through corrupting their minds.
The Faceless says that although the outer parts of Sheogh is open to the surface world, the burning heart of the world were Urgash is imprisoned can only be opened in a lunar eclipse and from the current heir of the seventh dragon.
Since the Demons are aware of that he was a Wizard, they venture to the abanoaded Heresh to find documents in its crypts.
They find the diary of a famous Necromancers who seems to study Asha and the Seventh Dragon and it looks like its written recently.
Since its the best trace so far, the Demons decide to move to the Shrouded South where the Undead now has their bases.

Why don't return to the old Axeoth? Or Enroth, or Erathia??? Or even, they can even return to Terra (might and magic 3) or VOID (Might and Magic 2)... or XEEN (Might and magic 4-5). There are realy a lot of Worlds here, why we shoud make a new??
