Indeed, what I did was ship every haven troop to my necro town and convert them. With frenzy/pm it was a bit easier. Have his PM stack target his own balista  .

I wish necro's had remote controll,that ballista would come handy.

Remote control is actually remotely useful. If enemy has 3 warmachines it's one out of three that will you get control of the ballista

I have Tribes of the East now !
In mission 4, Beasts and Bones, I need to speak to the Orc Chieftain. What must I do ? Do I have to attack the Stronghold in the South-West Corner of the map?
I also seek some advice. I need to find a new skill for Arantir.
These are his skills now:
How should I upgrade him next?

No leave that town alone. For one it's too hard to take down and then only thing you have to gain is the levels of experience that you will have before finishing the mission anyway. Unfortunately I don't remember how you get to meet Kujin.

Kujin I thought Quroq...
Anyway I found two blue gates after I destroyed the Inferno town. (I rushed through the gates without any losses ) Is she there ? And what's should be Arantirs sixth skill ? He got Sorcery and Mar Machines offered, but I refused both and chose Arcane Intuition instead.

Oh and I found the portal. What should I do next ? I moved Arantir through it and he couldn't move anymore.

Necro mission 5
I have also just started mission five and I am having some trouble getting through the barrier. I've finished everything else, I think. I have 4 out of 8 pieces of the dragon set and the only mysteries left are the destruction spot behind the succubus and the red circles mentioned above. So, I'm stuck trying to get through the barrier. What am I leaving out?

You must move 3 necro heroes (Including Ornella) to there, you will lose them but the barrier is gone, the destructuion in the book behind the succubus should have destroyed the dark portal.

I also like to add: Complete the Assasins/Ghosts quest before you remove the barrier, otheriwse the game freezes (as it did with me)
BTW: If you accept the Ghost quest, I advise you to liberate the Hero (she has aproximately 150 zealots and 260 vindicators, just waiting to be converted into Ghosts and Liches). I did this and have 1 k of SK. Warriors, Rot Zombies, Poltergeists and about 200+ Lich Masters + 200+ Nosferatus + 150+ Banshees + 36 Seraphs (nice army, eh  ). I won decisively (threat level of Orlando's army = low  )

Yes, the hero is quite nice, Id like to add if you have favour of death knigths, meaning you have over 45 of them you should use them.If deadly strike triggers orlandos troops will be reduced to ash quite fast.

Necro mission 5
Thanks for the info, but I am still having trouble. I ran two hired necros through the destruction portal behind the succubus and they suffered the final death removing them from the game. After those first two hired necros, I tried the following:
Put Valeria from the Ghost/assassin quest through 3rd and she was destroyed, but nothing else changed.
Put a third hired necromancer through and they were destroyed, but nothing else changed.
Put Ornella through third and she is destroyed and I lose.
Put Arantir through third and he is destroyed and I lose.
By the way, I tried putting the 3rd necro through third and then Valeria through 4th and then Ornella 5th and all were destroyed and I lost after Ornella.
Seperately, I also tried having three necros all stand in the red circles at the some time including both Ornella and Arantir, but nothing happens when I do that.
So, I'm dim, I admit. What am I doing wrong?

DO NOT put Arantir into there, hire 2 heroes and put them inside the rings then put Ornella inside the last one.
