Mark watched the pokemon curiously as they sniffed Mina's pack. "Yeah... I caught her today... do you have food or something in your pack?" That's the only explanation that Mark could think of for why these two were being so very weird. The trainer pulled out his maintenance kit and started looking around in it. "Screwdriver... screwdriver... flathead screwdriver..." Apparently, mark was looking for a screwdriver.

Mark and Mina:
"I—yes, I might have something left over from some of my research earlier." The very...circumspect...tone of voice this was spoken in was probably a dead giveaway that something was up, and Mina herself realized it. Deciding to come clean, she hooked a hand through her pack strap and pulled it into arm's reach, then started digging around in it. Quietly she said: "I made some Poffin earlier. They were having a class at the Contest Hall." She pulled out the Poffin Case and showed Mark. Inkel reared up to follow the Case with her eyes.

From the look on his face, Mark clearly disapproved. "So you snuck out against doctor's orders to make poffins?" What was he supposed to do with her? Mark's head dropped slightly and he rubbed at his eyes before giving a long, slow sigh. "Well, at least you were able to make some poffins and got yourself cleaned up while you were at it." He stated cheerfully, "Just don't do it again!" While also cheerful, there was the promise of being not a nice person anymore in a rather small, dark undertone in there. "So, how much did the class cost you?" Hopefully he didn't have to lend her money again... "And got anything to help with cuteness in there?"

Don't you start! "I was doing research and I made sure not to overexert myself," Mina said defensively, voice prickly. She made a mental note never to share that sort of information with Mark ever again.
"So, how much did the class cost you?"
"Not much. About 500 PD. I figured the information was worth that much, and they had a useful App too. See?" Mina fished out a Figy Berry and pointed her Pokedex at it, causing the screen to display:
Figy:
Growth Time: 20 hours (5 per stage)
This Berry is oddly shaped, appearing as if someone took a bite out of it. It is packed full of spicy substances.
+15 Spicy (Cool)
+25 Feel
A Poffin ingredient. If held by a Pokémon, it restores the user's HP in a pinch, and causes Confusion to Fire, Electric, and Fighting-type Pokémon.
((And as Mark is not in the same Pokedex network as Mina and Stacey he doesn't have this App yet.))
"And got anything to help with cuteness in there?"

Okay so... "That's sort of really cool. It's like a berry index or something... could probably identify things like toxic plants that pokemon shouldn't eat too, if you needed to identify some." So that was worth the price... and if she got some poffins out of the deal as well, then the class would be more than worth the price.
"That depends, am I going to get grief about it if I say yes?"
Mark rolled his eyes. "Of course you are Mina, because I'm totally the kind of guy who holds grudges forever and tells everyone what to do all the time. Watch out, I'm a ruthless dictator!" Apparently, Mark had recently taken a class in sarcasm. He ended that last part with jazz hands... er... hand. "No, I'm not your father or a doctor, I have no right to tell you what to do or how to live your life. I can wish that you would listen to your doctor, though, but ultimately it is your decision whether you want to or not, and even if I'm sighing or face palming I'll respect that decision. Just... try to not get yourself more hurt, alright?"
And with that said, Mark hesitated and added, "I'll talk to the nurse and see if we can get you out and about a little bit tomorrow and take care of this stir-craziness you have, but no promises. fair enough?"

Mina nodded; as she didn't try to get herself hurt in the first place it was an easy thing to agree to.
"I'll talk to the nurse and see if we can get you out and about a little bit tomorrow and take care of this stir-craziness you have, but no promises. fair enough?"
"Fair enough," Mina agreed, pleased. "Now, you were asking about Poffin, so here's what I have..." She opened up her Poffin Case.

Mark looked over the selection of poffin carefully, hand hovering over the sweet ones before he pointed, "Sweet poffins help with cuteness, right?" Always good to ask, didn't want to waste them after all...

Mark attempted to clap happily, almost stumbling before he realized he only had one hand at the moment, corrected himself and smiled cheerfully, "Then can Inkle have one of those, please? She seems to like the flavor, and I'm trying to gear her towards cute contests." Hmmmm... how would Mark pay for this afterwords? Hmmmmm...

"Pika!" Her youngest protested, folding her ears back with a disappointed look.

Mark took the pink poffin and held it away from himself at arm's length. It wasn't that he disliked the color pink, not at all. After all, skitties, which are absolutely adorable, are pink as well. He just felt like being silly and pretending that he was a manly man. Inkle, being a Pokemon, did not realize this or honestly care. Mark held yummy food before it, food which must be consumed. After one or two adorable little bounces Mark tossed the fish-like poison type her treat. As she cheerfully chewed, her trainer turned back to his tool kit and arm. "Alright then, let's get started on you! Mina, hold please!"

It was a rather long yawn, if you want to know the truth of it, though Mark did not honestly feel that he was that tired. Maybe it was a yawn of contentment? I don't know... But regardless, Mark awoke to his newly evolved Swellow tapping on the window in a rather rhythmic fashion. He bopped it on the head sleepily, making the large bird blink in confusion and stop its infuriating activity.
With another yawn and a stretch, Mark dug through his pack and pulled out a black shirt with a Haunter on it. On the back in blue, rather creepy letters, it stated, "YODO (You Only Die Once)". Ignoring nature's warning, Mark put this shirt on as well as a new change of pants and other things that are of questionable mentioning. His arm beeped at him, demanding a recharge immediately, which meant that it was down to four, maybe five percent now. He would have to let it bask out in the sun again for an hour or three... after he saw about getting Mina out. Er... Legitimately. He was going to keep his promise gosh darn it! And likely be slapped or something, but it would be kept!
And with much less of a backbone, Mark set out to find the nurse in charge of Mina to ask about getting her out and about for a bit. Meekly. To hopefully avoid the wrath of a vengeful nurse.

"Good morning to you too." Mark said with another yawn whilst scratching absently at the back of his head. He may not be fully awake at the moment. His arm continued to whine at him. "Um... Do you have anything ready for breakfast ready yet, or am I just way too early for that?" Other questions could come after the quest for food was complete! Swellow flapped in and landed beside Mark, preening and strutting about. For some reason, Mark got the impression that the Pokemon wanted to wear a pair of badass sunglasses... The trainer must be sleep deprived or something.

The nurse's smile is immediately replaced by a look of dismay, and she looks like she's going to say 'no.' But the shyness seems to pay off, for once, because as you continue her expression crumbles to uncertainty and finally a frown of concentration.
"Oh, all right. But she isn't to leave town, and I want her back here by 8 PM sharp." This with as much sternness as a Nurse Joy usually manages. "And you're to bring her back here right away if she starts to feel faint or ill! If she pushes herself any more I'm going to have to send her to a human hospital."
