"There are a few, really..." Mark said, standing next to the window and opening up its solar panel recharger. "You have to stay next to me, can't stay out too late and have to come back if you are tired." That was about it, right? "Other than that, you're able to do whatever you want~!"

Being purely objective, Mina doubted she'd be able to be out later than that if she'd wanted to. She wondered what kind of sweet-talking Mark had had to do to get the nurse to be...reasonable. And now she felt a little bad for sneaking out the day before....

Now Mark was lost. "Um, well one of your friends was here and she was talking with a little boy about his lost pokemon... perhaps we could start looking for it? And... whoever took it?"

Mark tried to remember and then remembered that no one had told him. "Er, I actually didn't catch that... but I think that Stacey knows. Perhaps we can go talk to her? Oh! And deliver the meds right now." Why did he keep forgetting about that?

Mark and Mina:
"Works for me." Mina gets her things in order while Mark recharges his arm, hooking her Berry Planter onto her pack so she doesn't forget it. Once they are finished eating, Mina recalls her Pokemon.
((Let me know if there's anything else you want to do/talk about and I'll split the timeline if necessary. Otherwise I'm just going to move this along...))
Mark finds the nurse on the way to see Stacey and delivers the package of medicine.
"Oh, thank goodness!" Nurse Joy takes it, sounding pleased. "I thought it would never get here! And with all the sickness coming out of the Shatterhigh Mountains..."
"Sickness?" Mina asks.
"Yes, herbal medicine ((Heal Powder, Energy Powder, Energy Root, Revival Herb, etc...)) is very good for Pokemon that are sick," Nurse Joy explains. "It boosts their immune systems and helps them recover faster when they become ill. Most of what has been going around so far has been Scarlet Froth" Mina dimly recalls Brona's Growlithe being infected with that "but there have been a few cases of Tidal Creep that came in recently." It's obvious she's worried, but then she smiles. "But this should help a lot. Here! This is for your trouble." The nurse hands Mark 1000 PD.
Nurse Joy then reminds the pair of the constraints Mina is to be under while out of the Pokemon Center and lets you go on your way.
((And unless Alkar had something planned for Stacey, we just meet up with her in the kitchen...))

The three of you meet up shortly thereafter, while Stacey is finishing breakfast. The little boy and his sister have gone.

Mark, of course being the nice guy he is, gave Mina half of the money and then half of his share as well. He didn't tell her what he was doing, what with her reaction to taking money from him before, he felt like it would just work our better this way.

Mark just sort of stayed quiet and let Mina do the talking because he didn't feel like talking because I have no idea. Just roll with it.

Mina made a reasonable effort to refuse, on the basis that she hadn't really done anything to help deliver the package. ((You sure?))

"What have you been doing? Mark has been dragging me between Pokemon Centers mostly, except for the attack here a day or so ago."

Mark nodded, "The job w-was given to both of us, so here's your cut." He wasn't good enough of a liar to call it half, but he hoped that it would be what Mina would assume. (Yup, I'm sure)

Stacey almost jumps off the chair to give her friend a huge hug, but thinks better of it, due to the injury her friend has. Instead, she stands up, and gives her friend a very light hug, though more to the side. She pulls out a seat for her, then seats herself.
"What have I been doing? Well, I came here to get a friend ball to recapture Sandshrew, and then went to Tidepath to get a package for the restaurant owner in Rieva. There was a shadow rift that appeared there. Apparently there is a Leech Lord that wants to collect humans. It wasn't the Leech Lord to said this, but a pokemon that serves him. I asked why, but then got attacked. It wasn't going so well through the battle, but Dream showed up and saved the day..." Stacey looked down to the table for a few seconds, then back up. "Anyway, Helen got knocked out, and shadowed. A few good things did happen recently though. I captured a Tentacool before heading to Tidepath, and one of the shadow pokemon in the battle."

Mina privately thought that was pushing it seeing as he was the one who picked up the job in the first place, but didn't think it would be worth the trouble to argue. She'd find a way to pay him back later.

((Suggestion on town: Look it up. We are in a Pbp game, and I have no qualms whatsoever about making you wander lost in the wilderness if you forget where you are or where you're going.  ))
Mina accepted the hug somewhat awkwardly, sat, and pulled a chair out for Mark in turn with her good arm.

"Recapture?" Mina's eyebrow shot up. "What happened there?"
(As he hadn't participated in the battle anywhere she could see, Mina hadn't noticed Stacey's Sandshrew during the fighting in Keida, and thus had no idea how badly off he was nor that Stacey hadn't had possession of him during that period.)
She made mental notes about this "Leech Lord"—with all the trouble Bandra gave them, sometimes she forgot there really were two fronts to this war and sooner or later they'd have to deal with the other one.

"Really? What kind of Pokemon was it?" Mina asked, wondering if it was something she and Mark could weave into their prototype tactics. "Have you gotten it de-Shadowed yet?"

"All right. We'll have to work out a password or something before you go; I don't know how many of us made it away from Keida and Ternai, and the Pokedexes might not be safe any more." And even if they were now, Mina reflected, they might not be in the future.
"De-shadowed? No. How do I do that again?"
"You battle with them until the Shadowing goes away," Mina replied. "Unless Salerdia turns up or they have a Purification Chamber around here somewhere." ((OoC there are other ways, too, some of which you've even come across already.  ))

As there wasn't, strictly speaking, a "Shadow" type as far as she knew, Mina interpreted this to mean "Grass Pokemon that was Shadowed," and nodded. That would presumably be useful against Bandra as long as they could keep it away from the Wispaferyn...

Mark then had an IDEA (yes, in all caps). "H-hey, so... Fluffy got stolen, right? Well, maybe one of us could go walk around town and ask i-if anything strange has been going on, w-while another one goes to the sheriff's department and talks to the people there, a-and I can go out with my binoculars and c-check the surrounding area for w-whatever? Suspicious activity a-and the like..." After he visited the store first, though. He was running low on potions...
