Bar group (Mark):

Skarmory beats his wings much faster, kicking up a breeze that ruffles the hair of the girl eating fries. The patrons who are nearest scoot their chairs away from the developing altercation, and Mina starts picking her way closer with a look of concern on her face. (Natu in contrast is looking excited, bouncing lightly on her shoulder.)

"Why you *******!" Kelts nearly turns purple with rage, while his compatriots call out an Aipom and an Elekid respectively. "Mawile, teach this punk a lesson!" Mawile swings its oversized jaws at Kirlia and ((Roll = 79)) misses, dissolving one of the seven or so copies of her scattered among the tables.

"Hey!" the bartender shouts as the other two flunkies move to follow suit. "You kids take it outside!"

Outside the Ring:

Kirlia: 55/55 (Evasion up 3 levels) (Intimidated)
Skarmory: 75/75 (Speed up 2 levels) (Intimidated)

Natu: 58/58 (Intimidated)

Mawile: 76/76

Aipom: 79/79

Elekid: 71/71

Lyra was perfectly willing to move outside, her candle having already used the minimize to stay small and secure on her arms. The hopping down off of her and back onto the ground was akin to a little violet spark from a machine floating away from her body. "So... I think... we're still doin' the match righ'? Shouldn' we be fightin'?" She smiled a little while while speaking sheepishly and clearly, presumably, they all went outside, and once everyone was outside, got ready for a Flame Burst directly onto the enemy mawile.

Bar group:

The three flunkies exchange looks before making for the door, sullen, their Pokemon trailing at their heels. Mina follows a few paces back, unobtrusively.

Jamie looks somewhat bewildered as Lyra leaves the battle ring. There is some minor disappointed grumbling from the patrons and the bartender looks like he's going to say something, but he seems to think better of it and goes back to serving customers.

The heat outside is punishing, and only Lyra's Fire type seems to be enjoying it. Needless to say it does nothing for Kelts' mood, or that of his friends.

((As with Stacey, while you are outdoors the battle is affected as if with Sunny Day. Gnomes, I'm going to assume Mark is leaving the building also unless you tell me differently. If he is, I need attacks for Kirlia and Skarmory. If he isn't...what do you do?))

All together (Jamie and his Pokemon are still inside BTW):

Outdoor bar fight:

Mina, figuring that taking the Electric type out was a top priority with two Flying types on the field, directed Natu to Nightshade the Elekid.

Skarmory uses Swift!
Aipom is hit for 10 damage!
Elekid is hit for 22 damage!
Critical hit!
Mawile is hit for 4 damage!
It's not very effective...

Aipom uses Screech! ((Roll = 84))
Skarmory's Defense falls sharply!

Elekid uses Light Screen!
The opposing Pokemon are protected from Special attacks!

Natu uses Nightshade!
Elekid is hit for 23 damage!

"Hey! No fair!" complains the flunky with the Elekid.

Kirlia's small army of doubles is now obvious out in the light of day, however, and Kelts is smirking. The look only seems to intensify his appearance of untrustworthiness.

"I see what you did now. Mawile, hit it with a Faint Attack!"

Mawile uses Faint Attack!

The big jawed Pokemon vanishes briefly, only to reappear and slam its teeth down hard.

Kirlia is hit for 70 damage!
It's super effective!
Kirlia faints!

All of Kirlia's duplicates wink out at once as she's knocked unconscious.

"Who's shady now?!"

Amethyst uses Flame Burst!
Mawile is hit for 28 damage!
It's super effective!

The Light Screen absorbs a good deal of the attack's power, but it's clear that still hurt.

The burst hit Aipom for 4 damage!
The burst hit Elekid for 4 damage!

"Natu, Nightshade the little yellow one again!" Mina calls, and holds her breath. The Elekid is one Nightshade away from unconsciousness, but it's also faster...

Mark recalled Kirlia and said, "Still you. You have the dark type." To the flunky with a good natured tone in his voice. "Skarmory, use furry attack on the Elekid." If he was able to take the electric type down before it could act again, well... that should end well for him, right? Make things easier, at least...

It looked like it had some kind of effectiveness, but the light screen kept it from doing the majority of the damage. She'd want to switch out eventually, and let out her Axew to stand next to her legs in preparation. Her strategy was simple and effective, regardless.

Amethyst, that did very well. Keep it going, another Flame Burst!

(The intimidate isn't houseruled to apply to Sp Atk and Atk both, right? Light Screen explains it, but I just wanna be sure.)

Outside bar battle:

((Nope, Intimidate only affects Attack.))

Skarmory uses Fury Attack! ((Roll = 57 – hit)) ((Roll = 98))
Elekid is hit for 4 damage! ((Roll = 8))
Skarmory was Paralyzed by Elekid's Static!
Elekid is hit for 3 damage! ((Roll = ...))
Elekid is hit for 3 damage!
Elekid is hit for 8 damage!
Critical hit!
Elekid is hit for 3 damage!
Hit 5 times! ((You seem to have something of a love-hate relationship with the dice at the moment gnomes. ))

Skarmory pounces on the Electric type and viciously batters it with beak and wings, sending his target tumbling. Unfortunately he's still a little wary thanks to the nearby Mawile's intimidating jaws, and on top of that an arc of electricity flares across Skarmory's body and his body stiffens mid-beating. He still manages to deliver his beat-down, but his movements afterwards are awkward and slow.

Aipom uses Screech! ((Roll = 64))
Natu's Defense falls sharply!

Elekid uses Thunderpunch! ((Roll = 96))
Natu is hit for 177 damage!
It's super effective!
Natu faints!

There is an audible crack as the Electric type slams into Mina's bird; weakened by the Screech the attack does more damage than it should, and Mina can see Natu's wing flopping, broken, as he rolls across the ground unconscious.

Mawile uses Bite! ((Roll = 38)) ((Roll = 57))
Amethyst is hit for 66 damage!
It's super effective!
Amethyst faints!

Outdoor bar battle (Mina):

Mina recalled Natu with assurances to his unconscious body (hiding her alarm at the broken wing—that was very serious) and debated who to send out in his place. Either Pikachu or Sandshrew would be ideal at the moment, but while Pikachu had Quick Attack, Sandshrew was much sturdier. At last Mina decided on the latter; too many of her Pokemon were hospitalized already.

"Sandshrew, Rock Smash the Elekid if it's still up, otherwise go for the Mawile!"

The Mawile's trainer swears as the Steel type's target takes the attack unflinchingly. The trainer with the Elekid calls out:

"Tirf! You were supposed to help Kelts out!"

"Don't get your boxers in a knot, your Pokemon isn't going to last much longer anyway. Just send something else out, whiner."

Hellen uses Dragon Rage!
Mawile is hit for 40 damage!

Sandshrew uses Rock Smash! ((Roll = who cares it only has one hitpoint!))

No amount of intimidation could stave Sandshrew's attack off entirely and the Elekid goes down.

Skarmory uses Swift!
Aipom is hit for 5 damage!
Mawile is hit for 1 damage!

Outdoor bar battle:

Figuring the little whatever-it-was can handle the battered Mawile, Mina directs her Sandshrew to Rock Smash the Aipom.

Lapras materializes and Ariados climbs from his usual spot on Mark's back at the trainer's prompting. The latter's fangs snap reflexively whenever one of the combatants—on either side—comes nearby.

((Roll = 51))

Aipom uses Agility!
Aipom's Speed rises sharply!

Mawile uses Fake Tears
Hellen's Special Defense fell sharply!

Hellen uses Dual Chop! ((Roll = 66)
Mawile is hit for 5 damage!
Mawile faints!

The Pokemon on the group's side visibly relax as the Mawile's intimidating jaws are taken out of the fight.

((Roll = 81))
Aipom is hit for 21 damage!

Sandshrew uses Rock Smash! ((Roll = 87))
Aipom is hit for 19 damage!

Duskull uses Nightshade!
Skarmory is hit for 28 damage!
Skarmory faints!

Mina:

Mina surveyed the battle with a serious expression; that trainer with the Aipom was up to something, there was no reason for it to be bumping its speed up like that when it was already faster than everything on the field. On the bright side, the battle had lasted long enough that the Light Screen was probably wearing thin...

I really just want this over so I can get Natu to the Pokemon Center. So how to make that happen the fastest? Mark had brought out Lapras, which meant Sing...

She really wanted to take that Aipom out, but it was faster than Sandshrew even WITHOUT the speed boosts it was currently enjoying and Sandshrew wouldn't be able to hit it until after it had made its move. Why didn't I send out Pikachu again? Oh that's right, she's fragile as a glass ball. The Koffing she wasn't sure about, speed-wise, but the last one—the Duskull—was very slightly slower than Sandshrew. But Sandshrew didn't have any attacks that were super-effective against Poison OR the very-obviously-a-Ghost-Pokemon, so...

"Defense Curl, Sandshrew!" Now just hang in there until we can get Rollout going...
