"T-There we go... So then Jaime... Or right, we left Jaime inside. Um... so should we go back in then?" He asked the others, scratching the back of his head.

"I'd appreciate it if we could stop by the Center first, but hold on a second." Mina approached their very helpful battle partner and held out a hand.

"We were never formally introduced. I'm Mina." Mina gestured in Mark's direction. "This is Mark. We're trying to track down a stolen Pokemon."

"Pokemon center is a fairly good idea, but now we've got to figure out what we're gonn' do with these fellas." Lyra looked down at the now sleeping people, cocking her head gently to the side as she cradled the axew back in her arms. "Just take them with us? Also, the name's Lyra." Lyra gave a small smile, and a polite bow of her head.

Mina looked over the three sleeping trainers, considering. Her upper body strength was nil..."I don't think taking them with us would be a good idea; they're only asleep at the moment. What if they woke up?"

She toyed briefly with the idea of going to the local Ranger, themselves, as their informant back in the Pokemon Center hadn't said anything about not getting these three arrested...but Mark had technically assaulted the three and they didn't currently have any evidence to back up their charges. And the three might decide to drag their 'friend' down with them even if it worked...no, better not.

"Drunk might work." Mina had never dated and had no idea how to go setting up the appearance of one, so she didn't comment further.

"Alright then, p-pokemon center and then back to Jaime, in that case? Maybe just put these guys against the wall so that they are sitting up before we go, m-make it look like there is nothing going on with the g-guys sleeping in the middle of the road...?" Mark suggested, robo-arm scratching the back of his head lightly.

Mina nodded, slightly distracted as her mind kept going back to her Natu and to a lesser extent her Sandshrew. "I'll go see if I can dig up some beer bottles or something..."

((Any last minute changes to the plan or additions before I write us to the Center?))

((I'm good))

"Plottin sounds good, but I'm bad at it, so I'll jus' watch all the fun." Lyra smiled, keeping the pokemon in her arms.
(I'm good too, not quite sure what to add to the plan, wasn't mine quite to begin with in the first place.)

All:

Mark has to shoo Ariados away and eventually call him back in order to leave the flunkies unmolested, as the spider Pokemon has taken the brief discussion as an opportunity to try biting into the trainer with the Duskull. Fortunately quick intervention saves the boy from injury—and a pain-inspired wake-up—leaving him only with shredded pants. Mark and Lyra manage to get the three seated in the shade with no other difficulty. ((Roll = 88)) Mina meanwhile investigates around the bar until she locates a recycle bin; it looks to have been emptied recently but there are a few empty bottles and cans in it. She returns with four that used to contain alcohol and places them in the sleeper's hands or otherwise in reach.

While cleaning up after the scuffle, the party finds a Smart Pin, a Silk Scarf, and a Cheri Berry; it's unclear whether the items belonged to the sleeping trio or were just trash kicked up during the fight, as they're all quite dusty. The three of you finish just in time: despite the heat a trickle of people are starting to leave the bar, their meals completed.

You head over to the Pokemon Center immediately afterward; the Center is mostly empty, and even the blue-haired trainer from before appears to have taken himself off somewhere. The nurse accepts your Pokemon as soon as you hand them in and runs each set through the machine in turn.

((Note: I'm splitting up the below sections for convenience; unless you choose to wander off you are present for each section, just out of focus.))

----------------

Lyra:

After your Pokemons' turn, the nurse takes you briefly aside, and holds Megumi's Pokeball where you can see it.

"Your Ferroseed" Nurse Joy seems to have had no trouble identifying Megumi's species "has taken a bad dent. I can treat her, but I need to keep her here until tonight to make sure there aren't any complications."

----------------

Mina:

Mina got held back a little longer than their new friend, as the nurse delivered the lecture Mina was privately certain she'd been saving up since Houndoom came in with his injuries.

"Again?" Nurse Joy waved Natu's Great Ball under Mina's nose angrily; Mina had a strong urge to snatch it before it could go flying off into a corner. "If you aren't going to take care of yourself that's your business" (Mina reflected internally that the Nurse had sung a completely different tune when forbidding her to leave the Center this morning—though now seemed a bad time to mention that) "but you're a Pokemon trainer and your Pokemons' well-being should be a higher priority. They aren't playing cards you can throw away, they're living creatures and you're responsible for their safety before your entertainment!"

Mina shrank in front of this tirade and eeped: "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to." A little less tentatively—because she knew it was going to be bad, she just didn't know how bad—she added: "Will Natu be all right?"

Slightly appeased but still in a high temper, the nurse shifted her hands to her hips and glared. "He's got a broken wing; I need to keep him here for at least a day to treat the worst of the damage.

I'm giving him an Everstone, and you're going to make sure he holds on to it for at least the next week." Elaborating she continued: "He's close to evolution and Natu wing bones don't completely develop until they evolve, if he evolves right now the damage will keep them from forming properly and he'll never fly."

Mina paled. That was serious. Perhaps not life-threatening, but Mina knew how she'd feel if she'd be stuck in a wheelchair the rest of her life—the fact that she could carry him in a Pokeball was no excuse: he shouldn't have to ride in the ball just for basic travel.

She nodded, expression anxious. "Yes ma'am."

The nurse took Natu's ball back behind the counter, presumably to join Houndoom later on.

----------------

Mark:

Your Pokeballs pass through the machine and for a moment it looks like you're going to get a talking-to as well when the nurse frowns. But after a moment and a few key strokes Nurse Joy comes back with your Pokeballs in a tray and a hand-sized bundle of cheap but durable nylon cloth held in one hand.

"Your Pokemon had your wallet. You might want to be more careful with it in the future."

And she hands you the bundle, which you immediately recognize as a wallet and just as immediately realize isn't your wallet.

Mark hesitated for a few seconds, debating whether or not he should take the wallet. On one hand, it was sort of illegal... on the other hand, if the grunts ran away it could give the authorities a face and name to look for, and it was always a good thing to make more money for the war effort... Alright, so he went with the keep it option. Patting his back pockets (which were empty, he kept his wallet in his bag...), Mark blinked in surprise and mumbled, "H-huh... how did he get that? Well, than you for f-finding it... hopefully he didn't buy too much with it. Sort of on a tight budget these days..." And, with a disarming smile (or the nervous attempt at one), Mark held out his robo hand for the piece of cloth.

Lyra gives the pokemon nurse a nod, looking over at everyone else with a half smile, checking out the damage that their pokemon handled during that. On the flip side, the bullies probably had it even worse on their end, given they lost and all. She gave a pat to Hellen, leaning over and grinning. "You did a good job, lass."

After this she simply looked over to the others getting their similar checkouts. "So, by the soun' of things this happens all the time, am I right?"

"Er... my wallet isn't really stolen all that commonly, but... I sometimes get attacked by drunk dudes?" Mark said, scratching the back of his head slightly at her question, hopefully getting the point that they would be talking more about this outside of the pokemon center and away from the nurses. "But other than t-that, yeah. Mina and I a-are sort of a team."

Mina nodded absently, still somewhat distracted. "Injuries aren't usually this serious, though."

Of course in fairness, most of the trainers they battled were Bandra Grunts and not very bright—or possessing very experienced Pokemon. Though thinking back a little more...Pikachu in the Shrine of Light, Houndoom during the attack the other day...I'm a terrible trainer.

Guilt prompted Mina to add, "Not for a battle on the scale of that last one, anyway."

Though I kind of wonder what kind of team you form, tha' suggests you do other types around here an all." Lyra took out some treats from her bag and released all her pokemon beside her, giving a snack to all in turn.
