Nevermind GL, He also posted in "muslims are not terrorists" and again said some non-coherent anti-semitist statements. He's either a Muslim fanatic or a Neo-Nazi. If he wants to walk with the big boys, he should learn not to be cheecky and over-proud. Just ignore him...

Today I was at Yad-Vashem. It's an institude to the Holocaust memory. It's just so hard to get that 6,000,000 people were killed for who they are, for their religion.
Think about how hard it is to lose one of your family members.
Now think about that feeling 6,000,000 times stronger.

It may be an act of ignorance, but I thought 6 milion people were killed in the Holocaust (I mean including Jews, Communists, homosexuals, Jehova Witnesses, etc,...)
If not so, Six milions is a shaking number... hopefully the (whole) world actually took lessons from it.

That's actually a very common mistake.
6 million Jews were killed, and more than a million Gypsies, communists, socialists, and people that objected to the Nazi ideaolody. The Nazis overall killed more than 7,000,000 civillans.
By the way, in Yad-Vashem there are also things that tell of people of the 7th million, but it's mostly about the Jews.

I believe 13 million people were killed in the holocasut (estimated, not counting soldiers and civilians murdered in acts of war instead of percisionistic killings) 6 million were jews. The other 7 million were traitors ,resistance group members , The disabled (that one i sometimes think, Is far worse then even discriminating against someone for his religion) and the gysies and other groups at the bottom of that heirachy hitler made.

First of all you have no way of knowing another persons motives, and it is very low to point everything a professor has done into "he was in for the money". That is such a low argument, and you have NO evidence of it. And you didn't understand the context of my "government prpaganda" sentence, it was attached to some very untrue statements by GL (namely that palestinians haven't agreed to anything unless they get all land for themselves, or that all palestianians wish death upon Isreal) So that was directed at that portion of the conversation NOT on all else we had discussed.
I would love to see some info that is contrary to what Chomsky wrote, because on the otherhand I have found many to be accurate (That Abu Nadir was not part of PLO 1982, even though Israel used his actions to justify actions against PLO) I don't think anything has been proven false as of yet, I have only heard opinions.

The fact there have been found on other places as well, and you know it. I have used a lot of internet material as well for example. BBC and Amnesty international are some of those.

are you a best friend of the 1940-1945 german minister of propoganda faith? (and to the mods, do we really need a rascist contributer, He has not even adressed any arguments, The only actual relevant thing he may have said is he thinks there may be a greater war upon Israel)
Anyway I think its not really valid to say that any persons opinion MUST be true and is more relevant then another persons (ie , Noam chomsky versus genielords mom) because were all arguing under internet obscurity here. Anyway yes some of Noam chomskys works are correct. but how he presents them. How he ignored other facts and his numerous opinions on the matter mixed into it are what i think is wrong about it (Ie, Pretty much like every other news agency in the entire world, so nothing new)
I believe theres valid reason to believe he makes a lto of money and fame out of it after all
A: Hes appeared on many TV shows, Many which i highly doubt he went on for free
B: Were talking about him right now, hes obviously nto obscure
C: He has some political influence and levarage from it, And all the books he wrote sold better. even those entirely not related to the poltiical field.
D: I dont think its a low argument. Its about perception of it though. Theres people who have commited more bizzare crimes and lied stranger lies for fame. (One example is the entirety of false messiahs there are)
