Fairly certain this has been added in Black 2 and White 2 versions. But nothing since.
It was added, but only after you have completed the game ..
And Blob; They will NEVER change the formular, which is becoming or has become a huge liability for them. But I guess we will have to see what they come up with for this generation. I hope they make the water one water/fairy or something cooler..

What do you think about crystal battle tower when considering a "hard mode"? In my opinion it is more difficult than many hacks, but if you on the other hand EV train (ExpStat train) your pkmn, it isn't very difficult. Also sadly the opponent gets predictable with time, I still remember my level 100 Hitmonlee wrecking havoc against other lvl 100 opponents it should never have been able to defeat such as e.g. Tauros, that foolishly always went for a Hyper Beam just to take an Endured 1 hp Reversal to the face afterwards.
Edit: Also if you don't over level your pokemon, going up against Red's lvl 75-80 pkmn with low to mid lvl 50's pokemon could also be challenging. Though I guess if one uses items it gets extremely easy.

It's Alola i think
So anyone willing to do casual fights(flat rules) on oras/xy? I don t want to battle japanese people!!!!!! It would be so nice having a friend from HC playing pokemon.
How many seal and frog pokemon are we going to have??? Like really! Everyone is screaming for a dolphin!!! I get it has to be an amphibian starter but a seal again....
Cats are ok though..
I will pray to asha or anyone else for an elevated difficulty... And a dunsparce evo hahahah!

I only played Gen 1-3 and all I remember of my "friends" playing against me was the never ending frustration facing the same Pokemon in every battle over and over in an "epic..." fight. Not to mention all the rather annoying "I can predict X and Y scenario for Z and Q move but if I choose wrong then he wins by default" which made every game come down to either making choice A or B to no end.
Oh well, I guess things change. =)

Haha we have more pokemon now and i'm looking for people who enjoy battling. Almost all pokemon have counters,so if it was predictable it could be won over.
A guy/gurl where we can test other pokemonnand strategies together through battling.

The first two are definite. The third i don't want another water/ice seal.... I mean again??? I think it will end up just a water type..

They haven't had flamingos nor narwhals. A narwhal Pokemon would be awesome.

First of all the rumour has it that new information will be released june 2nd. 
But I saw this video on YouTube yesterday. Pokémon Sun & Moon Analysis - Starter Reveal Trailer (Secrets & Hidden Details)
They have this theory that the map we have seen so far is just an island out of many based on the region looking like Hawaii (which consists on multiple islands).
Check it out. Just skip in it not all 23 minutes are worth your time.

Btw, Pokemon 'continents' never were the biggest locations in games, but the new region seems really small. Well, and how the classic would say: "too much water!" ;P
