I actually thinks this region seems pretty large. Mainly because I saw a video that explored the map and they did find a lot of stuff to explore.

Seems those two will be your traditional early rooster Pokemon. The Puppy has an interesting type - Rock.

The Puppy is deferentially Gen VII's Poochyena / Shinx / lillipup And for them to go with a rock-type dog is just great to see.
The Koala is normal, which is boring imo. But it might be a different version of Slakoth.. But I love the look of it and great to see a koala-inspired pokemon.

Saw them. I thought meeeh at first. Now I am just curious to see them in action.
The Battery-bug that evolves into the saw-bug is lame, but evolves into something awesome!
The Electric/fairy with the markings on is pretty awesome!

What the actual f*ck!?
Those must be some of the ugliest Pokemon I've ever seen. A bug that looks like a bus? A fish that looks like you mother-in-law and a mosquito? Sheesh.
The only interesting one is that Electric/Fairy, it has been hinted that it's a legendary Pokemon.
They have to do better then this...

To be honest I have now been looking at them. The Electric/Fairy guardian is awesome.
The electric bus is horrible, but the evolution is pretty solid.
The water/psychic is horrible.. Just plain ugly and lame..
But let us be honest some of these are plain decent.. Let us wait and see what we get in the end.

Mudsdale looks really nice!
But other then that really boring designs, it appears they're running out of ideas. I'm still waiting for some 'insta-in-my-party' ones like Tyrantrum.

You miss auto-includes? Well most of those we have seen are not the fully evolved forms. But Tapu Koko is auto in my book, and then I will name others when evolutions come. But I did not dislike as many this time ..

Wow, hyper training sounds nice! Maybe one can finally properly enjoy the game now, not having to know how imperfect your pokemon are without filling entire boxes with babies...
Also, I really hope that they release gold/silver/crystal as well as stadium 1 or 2 on 3ds with online capabilities. Probably will not happen but it would be so fun for veterans like myself...

New trailer filled with new information
Insanely awesome trailer showing new Pokemon as well as alternative forms of old ones! It is a must watch for all pokemon fans.
And some of the new look cool and some of the "remakes" are better then originals. Awesome!

Woah, that's a lot to digest.
Looks like they're reinventing the Gym system? I really hope for a higher difficulty level, those totem Pokemon might be it?
Z-Moves? Wasn't the game about one-shoting other Pokemon with they're opposite type attacks Do we need uber-moves?
But yeah, a nice trailer. New forms look great (aside from Exegguttor) and those dancing bird Pokemon are cute

Old ones first:
Sandshrew, Sandslah, Vulpix and Ninetiles are all super awesome alternatives to their original looks from the 90's. The Exeggutor is probably some of the worst artwork in decades.. Ugh!
But all in all I like how they are trying out different variations of Pokemon and saying "There are regional versions of Pokemon". I love that and I think it is way better then Mega or alternative forms (Zygarde etc)
The new ones:
I think we saw some of the better ones today. Lurantis and Oricorio with four different types. I find these "two" pretty solid and great looking.
The Poke-riding thing is a great addition to what we had in ORAS. And I have the biggest feels for that soaring on a Charizard
The Island challenges are pretty awesome. It is a different way to explore and enjoy the game from previous installments.
My thought about this was that we might see a different "plot" this time around - Maybe there are no gyms in Alola or fewer, or are they build around these Island challenges. None the less I welcome this idea.
